Recently I travelled to Boorowa for a family function and stayed at the Boorowa Hotel. Mike the manager was very friendly and accommodating. The room I stayed in was clean comfortable. No heating or cooling, just a fan. Not problematic during my stay, but may become so during extremes of temperature. While there is a handbasin in room, there are...

Our family stayed here over the weekend to attend a family wedding. It was so comfortable, the rooms opening out onto the huge balcony which wrapped around the top floor of the hotel. We loved sitting up there with our continental breakfast & coffees throughout the day..the staff were very helpful, the rooms very clean , not fancy but adequate. The bathrooms could be improved...

Many thanks JoybelleBatemansBay for your feedback. You are correct that it would be great to improve on the bathrooms, it is our intention to do so. With the hotel built in 1880, everything we touch, be it plumbing or carpentry seem to have far wider implications! It is our wish to 'period' the hotel and take this wonderful hotel back...

Stayed here as part of a field trip for uni and hands down some of the nicest people look after this fine establishment, rooms where comfortable even if i was a little tall for the bed and the pub downstairs was always serviced with a smile. Tea and coffee in the common room was always present to help yourself to...

Mike the legend himself ensures that everyone has the best stay they possibly can! The place has character and its lovely to relax with the afternoon sunset on the deck before heading down to the bar to have a chat with the lovely staff. It's not your white tiled million dollar hotel, but an old Irish pub thats maintained its...

The bar & the welcome were excellent except that the staff had given my reserved room to another Steve, without checking that it was me. We were given another room, which was described as the best room in the hotel. If that was true, the others must have been dire! We were put in a room which was sparsely furnished...

Hi Flummox, I do apologies for your stay not being to your liking, the gentleman that was in your room had been there for nearly a week and had chosen to remain for another 5 days. The hotel has been hosting guests since the 1800's and perhaps in the future we will improve many of the features including some sound...

Will not stay at this hotel again, The food tasted good, (Pork Chops), but I payed dearly in the toilet the next day for eating it, the knowledge of BASIC drinks by the bar staff is woeful, the young lady behind the bar didn't know what "Tawny Port" is had no idea, after showing her the bottle on the shelf...

We don't have 'Pork Chops' on our extensive menu, neither have we ever served ‘Pork Chops!’ Our Grand Tawny 10 year Special Reserve Tawny Port is $7,50 for 100ml, regular Tawny is priced at $3.50 per 100ml and we have a stemmed 60ml glass that sells for $1.80. Where you have encountered 15mls for $8 (a thimble full) has me...
