We visited the pub twice while staying in Bruns, nice relaxing beer garden with great live performance on Friday and Saturday night and the Sunday arvo session. Food was nice, we did get one overcooked pizza, but all in all a good spot for a drink, meal and great entertainment. Will visit again.

Ok. This hotel/pub is so awesome I don't know where to begin. The rooms are so sweet. Original. The best. Deep red carpet. The share toilet and shower are easily accessible and the shower is fantastic. The staff are beyond helpful and very friendly. The food downstairs is second to none and the atmosphere and location makes this one of... More

Subsequently receiving ambulance attention for paying $9.90 for an Ashai and accepting that tap pour Wine is as good as a bottle we settled down to a famous pub meal. The top line Porterhouse steak was served so tight it drowned in a sea of nondescript brown liquid and it went down with its little red ' I'm medium rare'... More

Very relaxing hotel, old world charm, fantastic views, food was a bit ordinary, steak burger for $18.00 dollars with soggy chips a little hard to swallow, staff where great, very attentive to your needs, Some extras in the amenities room, would be nice bikkies or crackers. And somewhere to put your soap in the showers, shelf for your toilet bag... More

Lovely old pub, have been here many times for drinks and dinner but not stayed until now. The beds are very comfortable with hotel quality sheets and pillows. My bed looked a little hard initially but I had the best night's sleep, as did my sisters. Shared toilets and showers were very clean. There is a shared lounge with large... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner for some alone time away from the kids. Very badic room but spotlessly clean and good view of the pub and water from the balcony. Reasonably priced. Theres a kitchen and lounge area for guests. Spotless bathrooms. Easy walking to town, water, cafes etc. Brunswick is a beautiful spot. The hotel accommodation... More

We visited here with friends and enjoyed the atmosphere. The Hotel is beautiful and obviously has some history. The meals were average but the service was fast. It's in a great location, just don't expect outstanding food. It fills you up and is fairly standard but worth it to soak up the atmosphere.

We sat outside in the generous- sized beer garden. Outlook was lovely, staff considerate and friendly and the place was very well-tended. Honest, fresh, generous top quality pub grub at reasonable prices in a charming setting. Couldn't ask for more. We'll be back!

Really nice place restored with detail matching cups and plates and bed spreads. Pity some bum stole the toaster as I would be eating avo on toast on the beautiful verandah. Share toilets but clean, attention to detail on the restoration with the original old furniture restored as well very pleasant. Can be a little noisy early morning and the... More
