We spent 2 nights here. On the plus side, the rooms were large, clean & comfortable and the staff were pleasant people. On the negative side, the place is a little tired and in need of maintenance: our aircon unit didn't work, there was no phone in the room, the plumbing needed attention, and the external noises from far afield... This has been our worst stay ever in a place were whe paid a staggering $230 a night. The rooms are dirty and outdated. Evering must be dating back from the seventies except the dodgy TV which was clearly bought at Aldi and had bad reception and a dirty sticky remote. The night was terrible. Noisy thin walls so the... Perfect location for a good price. Walking distance to beach, shops, bars and restaurants. We had a room that slept 3 people for a mini break with my sister and mum. Friendly staff. Room was bigger than we expected and very clean.

After trying to sleep in one of the rooms here I was up all night with water pipes making the loudest sounds every 20mins thought out the night. The bar fridge was so loud it had to be turned off at the wall. The pictures on the internet must of been taken when it was first opened in the 80s

Asked for late check out so we could do the walk to the lighthouse. Asked till 11 which was reasonable with most places I have visited. The manager was not keen and told me his cleaners knock off at 12. gave us till 1030. In summary not helpful or energetic. Did not feel welcome and in fact safe to say... More

The motel was in a great position, close to the main shopping strip at Byron Bay, including being just a short walk to the beach. Our room was large, clean and quiet. Although on a main road, we were not bothered with any traffic noise. There was adequate room to relax and watch TV but overall, the rooms need updating.

One thing that cannot be faulted here is the location and convenience to central Byron. Unfortunately, cleanliness was a let down to our experience and water pressure deserves a strong mention. We have stayed here before and it is fair to say we would do so again but if these guys wish to rise above the pack then a little... More

Arrived in Byron without booking any accommodation , this was the first place we pulled up at as it was nice and close to town.. Lucky I didn't read the previous revues as I probably wouldn't have dropped in, but we found the people at reception were extremely friendly and the room and grounds clean and tidy, our room was... Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was comfortable and had a well equipped kitchenette which we really appreciated after being on the road for 5 days and eating out for the duration. Made good use of the BBQ too. Bathroom is a little tired but is clean. Last year we stayed for 2 nights and this year for 3. Didn't... More

Opted to stay here to save some money - my first mistake. The lady on check in was rude and pushy when I stated that I thought the room had already been paid, not a good first sign. The room was outdated, dirty and had an old musky scent. The "wifi" only worked when sitting at the front door of... More
