After purchasing a 'Luxury Escape' package recently my partner and I had the pleasure of staying in the Shiva Cottage for 5 nights in March. Reviews we had read about Shiva had us worried about the size of the cottage, privacy, noise on the roof from trees etc so we were absolutely delighted with what Juanita showed us on our...

This was my second stay here so I know the layout and am aware of the associated privacy issues that have been referred to previously. However, as far as the Samadhi Retreat goes, which we just stayed in, there can be no complaints. It boasts the most privacy within the complex. Waterfront position. Perfect for honeymooners. The rest of the...

We were staying for 5 days at the Shambhala@Byron. We had a great stay and the house was comfortable and had everything we needed (a little kitchen with everything you need during your stay, etc., a bbq-place, a washing machine and dryer, each "house" has a private area, etc.). We arrived very late, but got a perfect description of how...

We had the most amazing time at Shambhala, we bought our 2 little dogs with us and they absolutely loved running up and down the beach every day. We stayed in Shanti and it was perfect for us. We will definitely all be back very soon for another visit.

We had a great experience at this place recently location was amazing and very surreal. We took our dog and he had a great time on the beach. Very fortunate that the weather was amazing. The Simadi is the best one in the place and we lived walking out straight out on the beach. We also brought our own small...

Set amongst the tranquility of a rainforest and eastern culture - you might think you have made the penultimate choice in accommodation!! Think again - a 'polycarbonate roof' - apparent insulation, a tree hoisted against the frame of the studio (Shiva in our experience), that squarked in resistance against the timber when the wind blew. An air conditioner that was...

Beautiful, well appointed accomodation with excellent facilities ( including barbecue, sun lounges, hammock, sauna, steam room and spa bath ) and access to a stunning beach. Very friendly and helpful staff.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with happiness and open arms. Jo, the owner of this magical place took us on a tour of the grounds. From steam room to the gym, sauna to our own spa bath this place offered us everything that we required to have a truly relaxing holiday. Shambhala is located around 15min walk...

If you are looking for somewhere to get away from it all but still be close enough to great restaurants, shops and explore all Byron has to offer then this is the place. My husband and I Just spent 4 nights here in the "honeymoon" apartment (Samadhi) to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and we couldn't have asked for more....

Unfortunately, I am staying here until Sunday because they made me pay in full a month before arriving. Now I understand why. This is the WORSE hotel I ever stayed in! The "Shiva" is a tiny bedroom that they decided (according to the manager...) to add on a kitchen that connects to a yoga room (which is supposedly our "loft/TV...

“I would highly recommend Samadhi, Shanti and Sarita, however the smaller Shiva studio apartment appeared smaller and tucked away under Samadhi. It would be worth checking out the virtual tour of Shiva to ensure it meets your expectations prior to booking, however the other 3 are great.”
