I stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling solo down the east coast. It's by far the most sociable hostel I've stayed in. Entertainment is also really good and great location. 2 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to Woodys or 45 hike to the lighthouse.

I really enjoyed my stay here in Aquarius, Byron Bay! Modern Interior, every room has its own terrace to hang out or you can chill at the nice poolside area next to the hostel bar! Friendly staff picks you up from The greyhound bus stop, dinner included every day (which was ok) and there is a nightly fun program going... More

This was my first time staying in a Hostel, but have worked in one for a few years in the U.K. We loved our roommates, and all went out together every night. No problems with the room as all of us in there weren't fussy with it being spotless. The free dinners thing is awesome and a great way to... More

Nice hostel in byron if you wanna meet new friends and have fun. The rooms are nice and clean in a very good location! Just a couple of blocks from the beach and walking distance from everywhere. It can be a little bit expensive and full when there is something happening at byron but I do recommend.

Some more privacy but still with the opportunity to meet new people. Food is good but this second week we didnt touch it yet cuz its... More

Ok so the hostel is actually good. The facilities are good, most of the rooms are good. The bar is the hostels USP, free meals, good prices and a really fun vibe. Hammocks, pool, there's plenty to do Downsides? Bathrooms are all filthy even after their "cleans" and I've stayed here twice and had NIGHTMARE room mates - the staff... More

My friend and I booked a 8 mixed dorm and when we got to the room we didn't even need a key to get in and there was no one in there. My first impression was this is the most disgusting hostel I've ever been in, and Ive done my fair share of travelling in hostels. We didn't even know... More
