This hotel Is in a good location across the road from the beach and has its own garage parking. The only room available when we booked was the "penthouse suite". This turned out to be just a very large room on the 1st floor with a balcony which overlooked the sea as advertised. What wasn't mentioned was that the road,... More

If you don't mind some sun, it's a good beer garden. Probably in need of a spruce up, but nothing horribly wrong with the place. Breakfast was surprisingly good too. Better than I expected! Fresh food produce in Byron is magnificent.

This iconic hotel has a location that is exceptional, great views of the beach, if it's too hot/cold or you just want a break and a drink this is the place, massive seating area, 2 big bars, plenty of food, breakfast/lunch/dinner. Pity such a place is let down by the staff, rude, arrogant and just plain un-helpful.

This pub is awesome. I was only in Byron Bay for 4 nights, but found myself wanting to visit this pub every evening. Great live music, great vibe & great views. There was so many young travellers around town which is what makes this place so special.

I was a regular at this hotel up until about 15 years ago. My most recent visit shocked me. The prices are still very high and to find the room/facilities virtually unchanged was disappointing . The bathrooms have these thick old fashioned plastic shower curtains, the bathrooms have not changed at all . A VERY outdated hotel IN NEED OF... More

We recently had a three night stay at Kingscliff about an hour away from Byron Bay. When we visited Byron Bay it was overcast so we spent more time indoors looking at shops than on the famous beach. We quenched our thirst at the famous Beach Hotel pub with its murals, fish tanks at the bar and cavernous seating area.... More

Booked the hotel as we were looking at a nice place to stay for a birthday, $330 per night week night..! Which is acceptable given its location, layout, accessibility. However thier website and social media marketing is awesome, place looks modern, which it's not, the outside, corridors and common area are quite boutique, that's where it ends. Rooms are dated... Loved this hotel! Room was spacious and well appointed. Free parking which is a real bonus in Byron which is very busy even in a non holiday period . Very comfortable and surrounded by excellent cafes. Our room was very quiet and beds were great .

This is an older style hotel in the heart of Byron. The location is fabulous as you can walk everywhere. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The rooms are clean and large and not very noisy which is surprising as you are so close to everything.

We didn't stay here, but it's a great pub for a beer or coffee. There's a huge beer garden overlooking the beach with live bands at night. Even spotted a whale this morning while having morning coffee. Good place to drop into for a coffee after a morning walk along the beach
