Stopped here on the way to Tumut. Found it by accident.. An unexpected surprise. We had coffee and toasted sandwiches which were very tasty.. There is also a bar with outdoor seating, although it was too hot on the day we visited ... I can imagine in the cooler months it would be a perfect place to visit. They also...

My family booked out The Old Bridge Inn to have a Dinner for 30 adults and 10 children. The venue itself was perfect. The kids had their own table and playroom which they had so much fun in, that was after they came inside as there was another area for them to play in out there. The food was of...

We recently visited with friends for breakfast in Gundagai. This place has a great cosy family friendly atmosphere! The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Perfect for locals or visitors to the area. There was a kids room with lots of toys so the parents could enjoy great coffee and a delicious breakfast. Will definitely be back

What a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Great food, warm friendly service. Georgous setting and very child friendly. Pityit us so far from Adelaide but a terrific asset to the Gundagai hospitality scene.

The only place to stop for a coffee in Gundagai. Great service and very kid friendly. The friendly staff always greet you with a smile. The kids can enjoy the kids room at the back while you sit and enjoy the open fire place. Do yourself a favour and drop in.

A warm welcome from the staff here - all locals serving local produce. A delicious brew of Riverina Milk and locally roasted coffee by the fire, while the kids play in the play room or run off some steam in the back playground. We took a tour through some of the rooms and plan to stay next time rather than...

The renowned Blessed Bean coffee does not disappoint at the old bridge inn! The atmosphere and comfort you feel on entering increased my enjoyment of the yummy Cuppa! Great for kids too with funky milkshakes! A must visit! We enjoyed a chocolate cake and banana bread. Both cooked onsite and delicious!

Great coffee in comfortable surrounds! Just what Gundagai has been looking for with easy access off the Hume. Staff were very personable and the fire was brilliant on a cold, wet winters day. I highly recommend for a break in your travels or if you're visiting town.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This beautiful 1850's building is located on the Murrumbidgee River in the Historic town of Gundagai. The original floorplan upstairs offers four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchenette, making it ideal for groups or families, a bit of a 'home away from home'. Individual bookings are more than welcome if this arrangement is agreeable to you. We provide light breakfast options the kitchenette (fresh bread, cereals, local milk and with enough notice croissants from the local bakery!) as well as a coffee pod machine, microwave and other cooking facilities. The new management took over in January 2016 and have updated many of the furnishings. A new cafe will soon be opening in the downstairs portion of the building. ... more   less
