Camp grounds have very spacious lots, is clean, modern and well presented. Close to beaches - flat water on Jimmys beach and surf on the other. Local town of Hawkes Nest has a well stocked IGA and if you need a night away from the camp ground - recommend the Golf Club Bistro. First time in Hawks Nest, enjoyed even...

The staff are great. The facilities are so well kept and so clean. It is in a great position near a great quiet beach and just a few minutes drive from the park. Shops are 10 to 15 minutes walk. There is a new IGA that is well stocked. It is also great for families.

Solo traveller with Avan Sportliner. Very friendly receptionist suggested I check out several sites before booking. So drove around park and found a gorgeous site at the top backing onto bushland. Lovely quiet spot. Quick walk to beach. Had a two metre long monitor lizard casually stroll through the bush thankfully on the other side of chain wire fence...lol. Will...

Dear Miscelaineou, thank you for your review on TripAdvisor. Our native animals are very special and we are very lucky to have a bushland setting. I think you may have spotted one of our smaller lizards as we do have a very large one that walks around we have called him "Eric". We hope to see you back very soon.

Had a quick trip to Jimmys and was really impressed with the facilities. Clean and modern toilet and shower blocks. BBQ areas well looked after and plenty to do. For kids on a park and a huge spiders web. Lovely to hear the sea at night. Would go again

Have stayed here a few times both camping in a tent and staying in a cabin. The location is fantastic, right on Jimmys beach and walking distance from the shops. The staff are absolutely lovely and the facilities are always clean. Showers have hot water and there is wifi. Kids can play on the play ground located on site. The...

We were in a group of 8 young couples and stayed here for the weekend, from first impressions the staff were lovely, each camping plot was more than enough space, shower block and toilets were always spotless and the BBQ areas were always very clean. It's also a 2 min walk through to Jimmy's Beach and a short 5-minute drive...

We stayed in a cabin while our friends camped as we had a young Bub. The cabin was well equipped and clean and the hosts where extremely accomodating and friendly. Jimmys beach is in a beautiful location and you really feel relaxed and off the beaten track even though it's only a 5 minute drive to supermarkets etc. We have...

I loved the park and location and was dog friendly. Well looked after park. But it wasn't the parks fault but the follow up wasn't good or they really couldn't cared. On the way back from the amenities I had a brown snake come out and lunge at me. It then hissed and flicked it's tongue at the top. It...

Jimmys Beach is 200 metres from caravan park but cant see the beach due to trees and shrubs. Jimmys Beach calm, lovely white sand perfect for kayaking, snorkelling and just lazying on a pool float. No waves. So pretty and can walk for a few kilometres. Easy access and very quiet. The caravan park itself is basic, toilet/shower and camping...
