The location of this facility is excellent and staff were very friendly however I would have to agree with other poor reviews on trip advisor. The room was not very clean, very dusty old furniture and very much in need of a make over.
We had the family room, it was very clean, we didnt need the space. We didnt need to use the car, lots of parking. Found the staff to be very friendly. Great location, walking distance to good food and a lovely beach. A bit outdated, but priced accordingly so, we didnt pay huge money for our room, we will be back.
Our recent 5 day stay i n room 12 was spoilt by the impression the "Resort" was perhaps being left to be renovated or perhaps the whole building was going to be demolished. Our stay was marred by :- 1. VERY NOISY TAPS (once rectified on complaint) Can't understand how previous tenants put up with the LOUD noise each time tap was used. 2.VERY POOR CLEANING PRACTICES ie washbowl not wiped, hairs still on it, Miirror not wiped, Sand left in Shower Recess, Dead cockroach still on bathroom floor after bathroom supposed to have been cleaned. 3.Had to buy Mortein spray to kill cockroaches 4.No Safety Lock on Door partly removed. 5.No Allocated Parking Space. 6.Had to request Soap and Shampoo when we reused towels on two days. Staff at all times were very pleasant and helpful.
We will definitely not be staying here again as the bed sheets were covered in stains. I really only want to be complimentary on here but feel I need to warn people that if bring children that they feel they need a good scrub after staying at this place. We will never use this place again.
Booked this for an NYD last minute getaway - it is understandably budget accommodation (despite prices probably being hiked on a PH but this is to be expected) - but you still expect a general level of cleanliness with anywhere you stay. Bathroom was very unclean - lots of dead flies stuck to the ceiling, mildew on the ceiling and grime and hair (not ours) in the shower screen runners. Pipes very noisy. Bedroom had dust everywhere, particularly behind the bedheads and cobwebs above the bed. Blankets had been shoved back into the wardrobe messily and so did not look overly appealing. Fridge seal was grimy and not thoroughly cleaned. The furniture in general was very weathered and dated (they describe it as vintage). Aircon temperamental. Just as we were getting ready to leave housekeeping knocked on the door and tried to come in - this was before the designated check out time of 10am which we were already adhering to. They were also having loud conversations previous to this outside the bedroom windows. I have worked in hospitality and hotels my whole life and found the standard of cleanliness here unacceptable - almost to the point where I didn't want to use the bathroom. Whether the cleaners are in house or outsourced there is no excuse and this is clearly not being monitored. We called reception to ask about wifi information to which they were very blunt - we also encountered someone (we assumed owner/manager) talking to the police over the front balcony about finding a knife but not being able to locate the owner. Found this very inappropriate and rather worrying. Due to this and the fact we were only there for one night we did not approach them in regards to being unhappy with the room. Definitely would not recommend - only saving grace is the location and parking.…
