Amazing location & views but the kitchen clearly can't keep up with the volume of patrons! Got here at 6pm to avoid the rush & were still waiting for 2 simple mains 2 hours later! Checked that our buzzer was working twice! All good, just on the queue apparently. Sorry guys, that's a joke! Not coming back for food again.

We visited The Huski a few times during our stay in the area. The atmosphere is great. The view from the deck is beautiful. The menu has a little of everything from Share Cheese and Cured Meat platters to Pizza to Gourmet Meals of Seafood or Duck. The swordfish special was delicious!! Will be back if we are in the...

For dinner we ordered pork belly, the chilli calamari to share and some garlic bread. All were very good and enough for two people. Dinner was ready faster than expected and was quieter on the outside seating.

Husky Pub is great for a night or two and cheaper than 'most' of the local hotels, the rooms are big enough with balcony access to most rooms (town view room balcony has water view as well) beds comfy, good shower. Pub food is good, it can get noisy late on weekends with music and people leaving.

Negative - Everyone's meals were average. Ribs were disgusting, reminded me of a microwave meal from the supermarket. Positives - Nice outlook. Service was good so will only be going back to drink at the bar. Overall the negatives over ruled the positives.

We had dinner here recently and overall it was good. It is a large hotel with lots if areas to eat. We shared an entree of a trio of dips, but not a lot of flavour. The shared Husky Pizza was better, good thin crust and lots of topping. Prices reasonable, and lots of beers on tap.

My husband and I have found that this is the best place for a meal in the Huskisson and Vincentia area. We have tried quite a few restaurants in the area and this is by far the best. On our last visit I had the flathead tails which were very fresh and delicious and my husband had a Pizza which...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Huskisson (formerly the Husky Pub) was fully renovated in 2011. It is a full service hotel with bars, bistro, gaming and entertainment. The rooms are modern with all the features expected. 3 X rooms have a shared balcony with 180 degree ocean views and 2 x rooms have a shred balcony with main street views. The hotel was renovated having regard to environmental issues. As such the rooms are heated with a hydronic heating system, However, we decided not to air-condition the rooms as there is usually a sea breeze in summer. Please be aware that the hotel has entertainment until midnight Friday and Saturday nights and some other nights during xmas and Easter; hence it can be noisy. ... more   less
