What a lovely couple who run this motel we arrived about 3 pm and Margaret meet us and then introduced Les to us, we were escorted to our room where everything was shown to us. We were also recommended the pizza at local takeaway which was fantastic. I have nothing but high praise for this place will definitely be recommending... More

A group of ten friends on a fund raising weekend for an Australian icon booked into this motel as something of a last resort. How lucky we were to find such a gem. Mine hosts Les & Margaret were wonderful. After we had stowed our baggage in the spacious, comfortable & well-appointed units, Les pinned a district map on the... More

We stayed here for one night. The room was clean and the included continental breakfast arrived on time. The room had a lounge/kitchen, TV, separate bedroom, bathroom/toilet and a private balcony at the back. We would stay there again. Fantastic service at a reasonable price. There were two single beds in the lounge so a family with children could stay... More

The Iluka Motel is a four and a half star facility masquerading as a three and a half star. The staff are friendly and engaging - eager to point out the attractions of this laid back seaside resort. The motel is conveniently located within walking distance of the hotel and bowling club which serve above average meals. There are 5... More

We were on our way to Queensland and decided to stop on the way. What a great spot to stop when tried after a long drive. The Iluka Motel is absolutely fantastic place to stay, spotlessly clean, all the amenities you need and Les and Margaret are the friendly , and are the best hosts. Couldn't recommend the Iluka Motel... More

Iluka is a beautiful little town. I didn't realise such a place existed any more. Sensational Iluka beach and very picturesque Clarence River are obvious highlights. The co-op fish shop ( remember those ? ) is a gem. Had a delicious meal there and also the pub which looks a shambles for the outside but is a joy to behold... More

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely motel. Margaret and Les are very friendly, hospitable and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and neat. There is a lot of attention to detail in the fit out of these units and their daily maintenance and servicing. Everything in our unit worked well, and Les checked everything was working before we... Stayed here for work and from the get go Les and Margaret were accommodating and very welcoming. The room was very clean and well presented. The excellent rating is not because the motel has the most modern and stylish fittings - it doesn't and doesn't need them! But my hosts made me feel most welcome and had a helpful chat... More
