Wonderful location, 8km out of Kangaroo Valley town. The host, Louise, was fantastic with the kids and ran animal feeding twice a day. On our last night she even organised a movie night with popcorn for the kids. Property is great for kids to bike ride around. Trampoline and badminton were also a hit. Kangaroos were everywhere and a wombat...

Stayed last weekend. Warm, clean and welcoming though other friends in adjoining cottage missing kitchen items. Lovely quiet spot with great views, friendly visiting wombat and kangaroo. Hot shower devine after time outside in the cold.

We have just stayed at Banksia Park Cottages for my husband's 60th birthday celebration. We got all the kids and grandkids together for the first time in a long time because they are spread around Australia. The whole facility was fantastic especially with little kids, each family had it's own cottage and the the Outback Bar was perfect. We gathered...

For the past 4 years a group of 18 or so us (all seniors) have spent a weekend in October or November at Banksia Park. It is a fabulous place to enjoy the company of friends, fresh, open air of Kangaroo Valley, swimming in the lovely pool and of course, the hospitality of Alison and Paul. We have hired the...

Lots of fun for small children. They can check out the animals, jump on the trampoline, spot local wildlife and toast marshmallows around the campfire. Accommodation could do with a bit of a spruce up. It would have been helpful to have a note in the room about animal feed times etc. Kind of felt like we were just given...

We came with friends and stayed in two cottages. Very peaceful rural setting. The ducks waddle around the place. The owner's beautiful dog was a frequent visitor. The city kids took about 2 days to adjust to the slower pace and the lack of noise! The playground needs revisiting as it is run down and only for toddlers and the...

We travelled as two families with young children (2 months, 11 months and 2 years), and enjoyed our 3-day stay in two cottages, about 50 metres apart. We loved the comfortable the cottages (complete with toys and books), the large trampoline (about 2 metres/ 7 feet diameter), the small playgrounds (suited to younger children) and the swimming pool and spa...

Be it only your family or multiple family friends each with their own lodge/cottage, Banksia Park provided endless entertainment for all the ages. We went from pool to spa, trampoline to play tractor, feeding the farm animals to spotting native wildlife, bike riding to playing cricket and that wasn't all. Evenings gave us the options of outdoor private or communal...

Come here for the peace, the location, the wombats, the wallabies, the kangaroos, not to mention the donkeys and pigs to feed. We came in the school holidays and loved seeing the wildlife in their natural habitat. The kids too loved the freedom of riding the bikes. We also did the bush walk down to the river, which was steep...

We stayed at Banksia Park Cottages Kangaroo Valley in the two bedroom Wombat Cottage for three nights in June. We paid $180/night. We stayed during the week. Wombat cottage has a gas fire which warmed the place up pretty quickly. It also has a kitchen with dishwasher (we didn’t use) and an oven/stove (we had trouble using the oven). The...
