Set down amongst the trees and only metres away from beautiful Merimbula Lake, we had a wonderful 3 night stay in March, in a deluxe cottage. Outdated decor like the other reviews say, but nothing drastic. A freshen up will be well needed though in the short term future. Only two small things to not make it a 5 star...

Stayed here recently on a roadtrip from Sydney to Melbourne. Only the one night, and we wished we could have stayed more. Fantastic location with views over the lake, and genuine down to earth friendly service. The accommodation looked a little olde-worlde, but everything was immaculately clean. The showers are great too - good water pressure :)

This is a real nest, as its hidden away off the main road quite a way out of town but once you have negotiated the lengthy twisty drive, you are in a completely different world, hidden away, silent except for nature (those birds are loud) and located just above the waterfront. Accommodation is in a series of spacious apartments, each...

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was very pleasant. The property is just out of town and set in picturesque gardens overlooking the river. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a villa and it was quaint, private, clean and with excellent facilities. The breakfast was lovely too!

Robyn’s Nest is slightly out of town down a mile or so of winding narrow wooded road, back down to lake level. Peaceful, secluded, we may have been the only visitors our 1st night. Helpful staff recommending places to eat (Courtyard Restaurant on site is not open for dinner this year, despite what website & flyers say), walking shortcuts into...

Wow what a breathtaking property. As you wind down the long drive way you feel like your going to a land far away! When you drive up to the main house to check in the views across the water from the porch were absolutely breath taking! Was really happy with the property, the cottages were stunning ( we were on...

Stopped there for one night. Peaceful location full of wildlife with gorgeous lake views. Room was spotless. Greg and his wife were very helpful. They even volunteered that they would discount the rate as it had dropped since we booked so it was excellent value. Lovely grounds and quiet pool area. A very comfortable place to stop on the way...

We stayed in one of the self contained cottages which was well appointed and very spacious. There was a well equiped kitchen as well as a large barbecue on the...

The place is very well maintained and the cottages are cosy and very well equipped. The scene is beautiful. Staff is very friendly and they will do their best to make you feel welcome. We absolutely loved this place. Even the birds which sounded like traffic lights warning signal.

Robyn's Nest is a short drive from Merimbula. Peaceful setting with gardens beautifully landscaped. Enjoyed watching for wildlife in evening and listening to birds in morning. Had four nights in a one bedroom spa cottage. Was surprised to find not a cottage in traditional sense but more a self contained apartment within a larger building. Cottage was well fitted out...
