The hosts were great and very welcoming. However the website gives an appearance of luxury accommodation within bush surroundings. This was not consistent with the actual appearance which is basic and somewhat run down and in need of some repair and a good facelift. There were moments when the eco toilet emitted an odour. If it were advertised in a...

We (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed in this place for 3 nights. We loved it from the first moment. The owners are very friendly and great hosts. We received a friendly introduction on the place and beaches to visit and the were so nice coming to our bungalow when they saw a Koala or a Kangoroo. Every morning there...

the hosts were very friendly and very helpful but unfortunately this couldnt help with the poor rooms. we stayed first night and had a decent rooms. the couch and the tv looked modern and the rest rather dated. didnt mind the eco-toillet at all but we didnt want to stay another night as we found it way too expensive for...

I stayed at Wanderers Retreat with my family in August and it exceeded my expectations. It is unlike any place we have stayed before and exactly what we were looking for. Set in the bush it felt like we had the place to ourselves (except the occasional visit from our possum friend) and though it was a little chilly we...

We stayed at the Wanderer's as part of our honeymoon trip down the east coast. We stayed in both the treehouse and a cottage. The treehouse is a fine example of a marriage between a love of the outdoors and luxury accommodation. The morning views are lovely, crisp sunlight streaming in when you choose to open the blinds. The fluffy...

We,ve rented the big house with the spa with friends and kids. We've had a great time The place is super clean, cosy, and very well equiped. The house is pretty big and very comfortable: We were 9 people in the house and we did not feel packed at all. The huge balcony with the spa was the cherry on...

Enjoyed our stay here immensely. Brought a voucher through "groupon" wasn't sure what to expect but our expectations were exceeded. Management and staff were helpful and extremely pleasant. Kids loved seeing the visiting kangaroo, Josephine. And everyday of our stay we went koala spotting. Would highly recommend. Cosy and quiet. Grounds were tidy. And close to beach. Would not hesitate...

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here for 5 nights in a beautiful treehouse. When searching for the perfect place to stay I wanted it to have a double spa, include luxuries like champagne, chocolates & fluffy bathrobes. Also to be in a location that has beach, walks, lookouts & a place to 4 wheel drive & this ticked all the boxes. Thanks to Ian...

When we stayed here the weather turned bad but our cottage was cosy and warm. The wildlife came to visit us. It is located close to the wonderful beaches. Our hosts were out to make sure we missed nothing in our short stay and indicated a preferred list on a map. We did all the walks we could fit in...
