This hotel is in one of the best locations in Threadbo village - easy to access chair lift, bobsled run, mountain bikes, golf and hiking trails. The hotel though is looking quite tired and could do with a decent refurbishment. We had a balcony room looking up the mountain so that was great fun, but whilst rooms are small, the...

Great central location, Very friendly, helpful staff. Great value with breakfast included in deal. But property could do with a makeover looking dated and tired it was also a pity there was only one bar open.

Perfect location close to chair lift and cbd, parking, storage area for mtb, foyer lounge area was really nice with a good view grand piano and bar, room was nice and clean, older styling but suited the scene, kitchenette could of been better with a toaster or microwave.

This hotel is so run down its almost a joke. The building has a perfect location, right in the center of the village, directly across from the ski lift and this is clearly a case of location, location, location. The lodge itself has charm and plenty of personality but the decor is so shabby, with the cheapest possible fixtures and...

Had a spontaneous overnighter in summer and chose the hotel for its proximity to services and village. The girls on the desk were awesome . The rooms are basic and very dated - don't choose one without a balcony if you crave space and air ... Also, the room doors slam every time anyone leaves their rooms - so if...

Amazingly helpful staff - particularly Nicole who couldn't do enough to make my stay as memorable as it was. All of the staff were friendly and keen to help in any way. Room was very small and a tad dated and an exhaust fan in the bathroom would have prevented the sauna-like conditions experienced.

Stayed 5 nights and had an absolutely perfect view out the window of the mountain which would be hard to beat. Rooms were comfortable. They might be smaller than expected but space is at a premium on a mountain. Reception, housekeeping and breakfast staff were all very friendly and engaging. Not sure if it is the mountain air or excellent...

We had overseas visitors and were showing off our "mountains". Had 2 base level rooms as part of the Conquer Kossie package. Good value for money. Rooms are of the older style as is the whole establishment but that is part of its appeal. Efficient early checkin with a phone call as soon as our rooms were ready. Large and...

The Alpine hotel is very convenient and everything you need you can find in or close to the hotel. The hotel has no lift so if you have heavy luggage be aware that you have to climb several stairs. Thredbo is more of less one street so everything is real nearby. Rooms are a bit out-dated but comfortable and the...

Comfortable enough and nice staff ..... but what is it with large hotel chains not up keeping marquee style properties. Great location and so much potential but so 1990's that it needs a major spruce up to warrant a good recommendation. So stay if it works for you from a convenience standpoint, but there would be way better options around...
