Ok...my first time to snow in Australia. This hotel in the middle of the village. Close to snow and shops/restaurants. LOVED the lounge area with big fire and comfy lounges. The beds are comfy and the bath was good after a day skiing. The temperature in the room was comfortable. The minibar was good value! No Foxtel:( A quirky hotel...

Our travel agent chose this accommodation and when we entered our room, I think we were all a little shocked. The decor was out dated, it was small and crowded and reminded us of the old motel style rooms. That was our first impression! BUT, after staying for the week this is our thoughts - Positives - PERFECT location, clean,...

Stayed for 3 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment. The location is great close to chairlifts and right at the base of the village, apartment layout is fantastic, kitchen is clean, spacious and fully equipped. But the bedding is atrocious, we had 6 x single beds in the apartment and they were tiny and extremely soft, basically collapsed when you...

Although this hotel is well positioned in the village of Thredbo it needs a massive upgrade. The rooms are tiny and honestly even though I know they were clean they just did not look up to scratch. The linen is dated along with the carpet. The heating is old fashioned and was difficult to control. The hotel is dark looking...

Stayed 2 nights - great access to the snow and shops. Friendly staff and warm hospitality. Car parking is not available but you can find a park within a KM and basically walk there. Good exercise, pub serves good beer and shots, fun atmosphere. Food was excellent and the breakfast provides excellent fuel for the rest of the day's skiing.
