We can't say enough about this BEAUTIFUL Inn! Richard & Ellen made us feel welcomed the minute we pulled in - they were sitting on the porch, as they often do, and immediately stood up to welcome us like family! The Inn is rich w/history, beautiful and centrally located to all that downtown Jim Thorpe has to offer! Promptly at...

We stayed with the DeFeo's for quick honeymoon trip after our wedding. We had heard wonderful things, and we were not disappointed. The the personal touches in the room, from the personalized champaign bottle to the daily chocolates where more then we expected. The location is perfect and parking is easy. We are planning on coming back and staying here again sometime after Memorial Day since alot of the activities are not open until then. I want to return to...

My fiancee and I have been to Jim Thorpe many times and we love it. This time was no different. The Manor is a beautiful Victorian mansion right on Opera Square in the center of town. I haven't been in every house in Jim Thorpe, but I would be surprised if there are better views from any house in the...

We love Jim Thorpe. It's somewhere that my fiance and I always try to escape to. We always opt for the bed and breakfasts in the area and this was one of our best picks. We stayed in the suite to celebrate our 2 year anniversary and Valentine's Day. The breakfast nook overlooking the town was so beautiful and whimsical...

After our first visit to DeFeo's in 2010 to celebrate my birthday or our anniversary, we loved the entire Jim Thorpe experience so much (the B&B being the clincher!), we made a vow to visit Ellen and Richard and staff Kathy once a year. Well, the clock was ticking as 2011 was coming to a close, but made it in...

The moment we stepped into DeFeo Manor B & B we knew this was no ordinary place to stay. From the warm hospitality of Richard and Ellen, to the intricately placed artwork and antiques, to the overall ambiance, we were immediately relaxed and quite honestly, speechless. The Victorian charm of the house and our suite overlooking Broadway of Jim Thorpe...

We've been coming to Jim Thorpe for years. Always enjoy the town and its people. We were fortunate to discover DeFeo's Manor last year. Have now stayed a total of 3 times, and have found each stay even more enchanting than the last. The owners Richard and Ellen and staff Kathy, have made us feel like members of their family....

To anyone planning a trip to Jim Thorpe- Stay at DeFeo's Manor! Richard and Ellen are the most welcoming, hospitable, and pleasant inn keepers I have ever stayed with. The Manor is a beautiful building, and the rooms are spacious, well-furnished, comfortable and clean. My husband and I stayed in the Suite, which offers the best view of Jim Thorpe's...
