Steps away from the downtown with onsite parking. We stayed in a comfortable and quiet room that needs room darkening curtains. As expected, the Inn is old and worn and oozes charm. Highlights are the fabulous innkeepers Sheila and Bob, their hospitality and their wonderful breakfasts. Would stay there again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in late February and it was perfect. Sheila and Bob were the nicest people, and made us feel very comfortable. They were always good to talk to and had good suggestions. The breakfasts that Sheila made each morning were definitely a highlight. They were beautifully presented and just delicious. We were...

Not the worst place but not the best either. Sheila and Bob were nice and hospitable but the B&B was just lacking a little bit. Meals were good. I would recommend bringing your own shampoo, conditioner and soap.

Darryl, We are sorry for you disappointment in our Inn. Yes she is old, and yes we are doing our best to bring her back to true form. Our winter luxury robes along with our 'Made for Us" soaps, shampoo and body wash, actually help us stand out in the "Green accommodations". there were also a top brand of body...

This was our first trip to Jim Thorpe. We were pleasantly surprised of the rich history and charm of this town. We picked the Gilded Cupid based on other reviews on this site and I have to say we made an excellent choice. Sheila and Bob were warm cordial hosts that made our stay very enjoyable. We felt like we...

We stayed at the Gilded Cupid for six nights. Sheila and Bob couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We were in Jim Thorpe doing some family history research as my family lived in Mauch Chunk in the mid 1800's. Sheila even offered to put us in contact with an historian. We stayed in Bev's room which was very comfortable...

My husband and I spent three nights at the Gilded Cupid and we could not have chosen a more lovely place. Sheila makes you feel special and as if you have always known her. She and Bob are interesting, helpful, warm, funny, and just plain good people. The B&B is full of old antiques they have collected and decorated the...

Wow, this was my 4th visit to Jim Thorpe and my best B and B experience there. The innkeepers, Sheila and Bob are very friendly and accommodating with service that surpassed any of the other places I have stayed in town( and the other places were terrific). We came late evening on a Friday night and Bob helped us with...

We have stayed in many B&B's, and the Gilded Cupid is at the top of our list. It is decorated so beautifully with antique furniture and some loving touches. We stayed in Bev's room which was warm and cozy. The large adjoining bathroom even had an awesome claw foot tub. Sheila and Bob couldn't have been any more welcoming. Sheila...

We picked this place because it was near to the town centre, and we could just park the car and walk to a restaurant, etc. We had Bevs room. Its quaint, its clean and its comfortable, and the bathroom adjoining is as big as the bedroom. There is a fridge on the landing to keep things in or for ice...
