Wonderful getaway weekend in Jim Thorpe. Bob and Sheila greeted us upon arrival and were the definition of hospitality. Our room was lovely, very comfortable. The linens and towels were top notch and so soft that you paused for a moment to enjoying the feeling. We like to hike and had a few trips in mind. Bob had maps and...

This trip was a gift from my children to me and my husband for my birthday and it was the best gift that I received this year! Not only is this bed and breakfast charming and cozy, we had the best breakfasts of our lives there! Whenever we needed a suggestion for entertainment or dining, Sheila led us to the...

We were delighted with the convenient location, comfortable rooms, and amazing breakfasts. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The private bath was a wonderful claw-footed large tub that was so relaxing.

Sheila was looking out as we arrived and helped us park and get settled. She was very easy to talk with and we immediately felt very comfortable. Bob was working so we did not see him until breakfast. We were in town to see a show at the opera house and the Gilded Cupid suited our needs perfectly. Jim Thorpe...

The proprietors were as helpful and nice as can be. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked and just as advertised. The place, as many in the area, is older and much different than many of our other B&B stays, but the Gilded Cupid, like the town, has some charm and seems to grow on you. The Moya was a recommended restaurant...

Wanted to get away for the night after our wedding and stumbled upon the Guilded Cupid. Without even knowing we had just gotten married, our room was naturally romantic, comfortable, and just gorgeous. We had a fantastic night and an even more fantastic morning! Enjoyed Sheila's (award winning) breakfast along with both her and Bob's conversation. What wonderful people. Can't...

The Good: our hosts were very genial and enthusiastic, breakfast was high quality and on the gourmet side, there was off-street parking, the location couldn't really be better, there was good air conditioning in the room, and the room itself was nicely decorated. The Not-So-Good: our room lacked a bathroom door (!), the tub was big and somewhat hard to...
