I have been coming back here every year after a friend had recommended this campground to me. They are extremely nice, and very helpful. On top of that they run a very clean and efficient Camp Ground. the bathrooms are some of the best I have seen in any campground from Pa To Alaska and back. Most recently I had...

Wow, if this is a resort, I'm Katy Perry! Get real, this is camping in the woods, on grass, with hookups. No more, no less. We never realized that there were so few choices traveling through Pennsylvania. We had no choice in the area and it was getting later afternoon. When we got there, the office was closed. We called...

My husband and I are seniors, and are fairly new to camping. We became campers so we could join our son, daughter-in-law and niece who have been frequent campers for years. They have stayed at Jim Thorpe Camp Resort for several years only because it is so close to the town of Jim Thorpe. In January 2016 they both reserved...

I was driving through on the PA Turnpike and I needed a place to camp. I stopped here and it felt like I was an unwanted step-child. The owner was in the office and he made me feel like he was doing me a favor by giving me a site. They have a lot of seasonal campsites here and it...

We camped here with some friends. When we arrived we found that one of the sites we had requested had been given away to another camper. From our understanding there was a mix-up with the reservation that the other group had so they shuffled ours (without notice). The campers were nice. . . . but they were separated from the...

Stayed in a tent site and had to leave a night early because of packed sites. No privacy and sites are 30-50 feet apart. Even a whisper can be heard from the neighboring sites. Have seen campers yelling at neighbors to keep their voices low. I agree with other reviews, owners are friendly and restrooms are clean but that doesn't...

Rented a cabin for a weekend at a reasonable price it was a good experience Felt safe, clean and love that there's quiet time from 11pm to 7am Also plenty of bathrooms There's also a well sorted store that's opened until late. Remember you're supposed to be roughing it After all it's Camping.

The staff is super friendly. They helped us find a site that was safe for our small children and close to the playground! Sites are well maintained and roomy enough for our larger tent. My kids loved the playground, pool, arcade, hiking trail, switch back trail and trail access to the county/lake beach. The small store is well appointed and...

We had a good time staying in this campground, the only problem were the lot sizes. If you have a camper 30' or larger you may have trouble with some of the lots. The people were very friendly, after seeing some reviews I had second thoughts about going but glad I did. The owner came by checking on us making...

“The sites up by the road are very open and visible from the road. They may be necessary if you have a bigger camper, but try for 147 or 148, which are behind a tree break. Those sites were easy in/out for a big rig.”
