Beautiful historic inn! We loved all the stone, the wood, the textures, and the orchids. Downtown is a short walk away, so we parked the car and strolled to shopping and to supper. Gilja's signature French toast was delicious. The Delaware room was sunny and cozy, and we appreciated all the extra touches in the bathroom. The mattress was a...

Innkeeper Gilja Kusano owns and operates a beautiful historic B&B within easy walking distance of the town center. The home is beautiful inside and out. The woodwork is exquisite. The furniture and decor complement the home. We stayed in the Longwood Suite for four days. That offers a bedroom, separate sitting room and ensuite bathroom. The king size bed has...

We stayed two nights here and Gija suggested we buy our tickets to the Longwood Gardens form her and save money, (great tip). She also suggested a great restaurant and we loved it,( Portobellos). The house has been a B&B for years and when she was ready to be an inn keeper this house became available, what a coincident, (probable,...

Deservedly the Tripadvisor Number 1 B&B in Kennett Square. Gilja is a fantastic host and prepares breakfast treats to die for. The house and its rooms are generously proportioned. We chose the Delaware Room that faces to the rear as I was uncertain about traffic noise at the front: but, having visited, I am sure that this can be discounted...

The Inn had a lovely porch with chairs for sitting outside in the nice weather months and two different sitting areas within the...

We were delighted to be greeted with a warm, friendly welcome from the proprietor, Gilja. We stayed in the Delaware room which boasted a new bathroom. The room was spotless! The updated facilities added to the...

From our arrival to departure, our stay was fantastic.. while, checking in, Gilja gave us many sightseeing and dining ideas.. She even had discount non-timed tickets to Longwood Gardens and discount tickets to the Brandywine River Museum. We were able to walk the few blocks into Kennett...
