While heading home from Virginia we decided to detour to the amish country. I was pleased and curious about the Cork Hotel which I found on the internet. It was terrific. Very interesting repurposing of the building, lovely large rooms and nice bath. Good restaurant...More
I had the opportunity to stay at the Cork Facory while attending a nearby conference. I really appreciate what Lancaster has done with what would have otherwise been a large, empty brick warehouse. The guest rooms are really lovely and the staff was incredibly kind...More
The hotel is incredible. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is awesome. However the cleaning staff left cleaning rags in our bathroom & the toilet used & not flushed. We were traveling with a group & almost every one had a minor issue, but...More
The location is great. Staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms each have an exposed brick wall and have an old feel but with modern bath and amenities. The banquet facility was gorgeous and the good was great. Cons: noise. It's an old building...More
We had a chance to visit Lancaster for a weekend to attend a friend's wedding. The hotel and the complex it's in are really nice. It's a repurposed building that was literally a real cork factory for Armstrong at one point in its history. We...More

There are rooms on the first floor. The best and most quiet rooms are on the top floor. ( 4th in the main building). All the lower rooms you will hear the floor boards squeak above you, if the guest above you stay up late. Its part of the charm of this hotel, say the staff.

Thank you all for your interest and kind words regarding Cork Factory Hotel's comfort and our outstanding sleep experience. We understand that great customer service begins with the simplest of amenities: a great nights' sleep!
Cork Factory Hotel originally furnished it's guest rooms with mattresses and pillows manufactured by White Dove Mattress Company in Canton, OH. The specific model in all of our guest rooms is the Medallion II Plush Firm, Double-Sided Pillow Top Mattress. It is my understanding that this particular model is not available direct to consumer, though the sales rep there tells me that the have another, very similar model that can be purchased from White Dove Mattress directly, and shipped anywhere in the world!
Of course, due to the regular wear and tear of normal occupancy throughout the year, there have been some replacements made to a select rooms throughout the property. Most replacement mattresses were Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid Series Model.
Please feel free to contact me directly if there are any additional questions or concerns. Once again, thank you for patronizing Cork Factory Hotel, and our comfortable beds will be waiting upon your next visit to Lancaster!
