My wife and I got a gift certificate from our kids for Christmas. We opted to use it before Mother's Day so we could have two days purchasing our plants and flowers in the county. The Amish sell some beautiful plants at very low prices. We ended up getting all of our bedding plants, touring an area of the county...

We had a recent 3 night stay and it was like going to stay at a long lost Aunt and Uncles.Michael and Lark were so hospitable and went out of their way to assist with printing bus timetables, helping us plan our weekends itinerary and generally making sure we were happy and welcome. The breakfasts were the best I have ever had...

Lovely historical manor house originally a doctor's home and office. Beautifully refurbished to original. Large guest rooms with lots of natural light and sumptuous bed linens. Great location. Great hosts who created three course breakfasts besides lots of useful information. I especially loved hearing the Amish buggies outside. Plus a wonderful garden with aviary. Don't miss Lancaster's indoor market and...

Thank you Francine. I hope you are both feeling better. I'm glad you were able to still do some Lancaster County things even though you weren't feeling so good. And you hit some of the best places - the covered bridges and the Fulton Theater. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and maybe we will see you again...

We have recently returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at Lovelace Manor. We have stayed at many B&B's both across the United States and in Europe and it is rare to find hosts as gracious, accommodating, and as well informed and respectful of the community in which they live than Lark and Michael. We highly recommend taking Lark's excellent...

We stayed in the Queen sized room for 2 nights. It was a delightful stay & we so enjoyed talking with Lark & Michael. They are wonderful hosts. The home & room has everything a guest would ever need. They are a wealth of information about the town itself as well as the history of the plain people. We had...

I read the reviews and felt how could we could not try it, I'm very happy we did. It would be impossible to not agree with those that I read as all were glowing. Without repeating what others have said many times, to show an example of how Lark and Michael make it a pleasure to stay at Lovelace Manor....

This is what a B&B should be! While Lovelace Manor is more than just a bed and a breakfast, let's take a look at those for a second: Bed: I was able to experience two different rooms, because I decided to extend my two-day stay an extra night, and my original room was booked. Both beds were extremely comfortable with...

We were delighted to have you as our guest. We're so happy that you enjoyed the Amish Countryside and some of our back roads places. And there is still much more to see. I hope you and your husband are able to make a trip together this year. We would love to have you back again. Thank you!

I've stayed here several times over the last few years and will continue to go back. Lark and Mike make you feel at home and comfortable. The house is beautiful, quiet, and meticulously kept. I've stayed at the "big name" hotel at Penn Square in the past. Although it's nice, I much rather stay at Lovelace Manor. There is just...

The inn itself is incredibly beautiful and is meticulously maintained, the rose suite (where we always stay) is elegant yet homey (with an amazing claw footed tub), the breakfasts are so delicious and served at a table that is always beautifully set, and the added touches (fresh baked cookies, snacks, popcorn, pretzels, coffee/tea/water always available in the butler's pantry, a...

Stayed there recently while in Lancaster. Lark and Michael (the owners) made us feel at home. They were always trying to help with reservations or directions. They have done a great job restoring this old home.
