This is the fourth time we stayed at this hotel in order to attend an annual convention hel there. The hotel is under new ownership and the new owners have invested in badly needed upgrades. This is the good news. The individual rooms now have individual heat and air conditioning which was not so in the past. There are some...

We spent a long weekend at the Host this month. They're making HUGE changes, starting with all new heating systems in the rooms and new boilers for the rest of this massive facility. Complete room renovations are underway - 50 rooms at a time. The remodeling plans are on display and are ambitious but attainable. Currently, it's a mixed bag...

Booked a large group session using multiple conference rooms. In years past, this was a mid-tier facility that was presentable (average). It has declined to point if closure. Chairs from 1980s with screws sticking up through the aged seat cover. Downstairs has the odor of must and dampness. Couches stained, smelling and warn. No air conditioning and the had to...

For those who are from Lancaster County or have stayed at this hotel in the past, it is very sad to see what this "convention center" has become. I remember it as a very beautiful, well maintained hotel with multiple activities and venues. It has now become a very tired, run down facility of which you can still see a...

My group booked 5 separate meetings, and sleeping rooms at the Lancaster Host Resort on March 3, 2017. Kathy and the front desk staff made checking in a breeze. They were readily available to answer any questions my group had. The hotel was quaint and quiet. They are almost done with complete renovations (which didnt even bother our event at...

Does anyone inspect this hotel! How can it still service customers. It is filthy and loaded with mold in hallways and in guest rooms. Totally disgusting. It's a great location, but the hotel is disgusting.

I've been staying at this hotel every year for the last 8 years. This year the banquet food was better than before so that was a nice surprise. The hotel itself still needs major upgrades but it's not terrible for the price and location.

Why is this hotel not closed? Not clean, not safe. Mold in rooms. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Filthy. Stains on the sheets. Hair in the tub and on the sheets. Crackers under the bed. Smelly hallway s and rooms.

I had a great experience here at the Lancaster Host Resort. I stayed in the penthouse 2 bedroom suite. Everything was very clean. No dust anywhere. This is very impressive. Especially for a hotel built in 1966. They had great facilities for meetings or events. The catering for the event I went to was amazing. All of the food was...
