We spent July 1 and 2 at the Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast. The drive to the B&B is beautiful and the house (circa 1704) is impressive! The innkeeper, Andrew, is new as of May, and although he has a degree in hotel and restaurant management, and is in culinary school, his hospitality could have been better. We planned our stay...

Lynda and I enjoyed our 3 day stay, very much. We visited most of the local sights. Longwood was beautiful. Saw the Liberty Bell in Philly. Wythe Art Museum was special. Ate at several places. We really enjoyed the food variety at the Half Moon Rest. in Kennett Square, Pa.

We stayed at the Cornerstone while visiting Longwood Gardens one weekend and couldn't be happier with our decision. The historic house is absolutely beautiful. The inn keepers, Mike and Sue, were refreshingly friendly and extremely helpful with directions and information on local attractions. The romantic guest rooms were the perfect balance between historical preservation and modern convenience. I highly recommend...

Just returned from our 2nd stay at Cornerstone & it was even better than the first. A lovely old stone farmhouse with charm to spare, wonderful views & a very relaxing warm atmosphere. Conveniently close to all the Brandywine Valley attractions - just minutes from Winterthur, Longwood etc., yet remote enough to really get away. Innkeepers Mike & Sue were...

Went to relax and celebrate our 25th anniversary and it was all that we hoped for. Close to historic Winterthur...which you must see if you love history. Did 2 tours in 2 days and felt we saw alot of what the 175 rooms had to offer. Beautiful fall foliage everywhere. The innkeepers Mike and Sue are funny, friendly, and accommodating....

In an ideal location for visiting Winterthur. Delightful house with period interiors. Unique sitting room with double fireplaces, a wonderful place to read a book on a fall evening. Mike and Sue are the friendliest of hosts. The breakfasts are to die for. We would definitely return for future visits to this area.

We truly enjoyed the historic feel this home has. It was exactly what we were looking for. The jacuzzi tub was relaxing and the the room very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and was made to order because there were only two couples staying that night. We would definitely stay again!

The Cornerstone B&B was a 20-minute jaunt from the very beautiful Longwood Gardens, which is an all-day affair. It was nice to have a comfortable place to go back to. The grounds of the B&B were pleasant, and the interior very Victorian. The hospitality of the folks who run it is to be commended. My only reservation was that our...
