Chris was such a delight! Super helpful, extremely welcoming. The rooms were clean smelled fresh and spacious. Traveling with kids the space is important. The hotel staff is by far excellent! I highly recommend this hotel!
Our four-person family had a great stay at the Courtyard Philadelphia Langhorne while visiting Sesame Place. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were quiet. The room and the whole hotel were very clean. There was an outdoor area with tables and chairs and grass, where we ate breakfast and let the kids run around a bit in the morning. The hotel is a short drive to Sesame Place. It's perhaps worth noting that you can't walk to Sesame from the hotel, since there is a large highway to cross and no sidewalks.
Horrible customer service experience. Still waiting for a return call from management from my stay on September 4-5 but don’t have much faith in that. Tried calling multiple times every day since September 5 but never reaching anyone live from management or sales even though upon check out we were told there was no one to physically speak to from management there before we had to leave- only given phone numbers to try calling. We had a one night stay planned ahead of our 4 year old daughter’s surgery at a local hospital as we were traveling from a few hours away. Unfortunately, we paid over $350 for ONE night to SLEEP at this hotel before needing to arrive at the hospital for our daughter’s procedure the next morning and an unruly “wedding” party decided to host an ALL NIGHTER in the shared courtyard area of the hotel from 10:30pm/11:00pm UNTIL literally 5:00am!!! It was beyond ridiculous for this type of activity to be going on ALL night long and permitted to do so by management when there are other paid guests looking to SLEEP at this hotel. I am all for celebrating life’s greatest moments, but this was not the time or place to do so in a shared hotel area after every other hotel amenity has long been closed for the night (ex. pool closed at 8:00pm, bar/restaurant had long been closed) and now from 10:30pm THROUGH 5:00am a PARTY in the courtyard? I don’t think so. Take the “party” to your rented room, not a shared public space! Very classless. We called the front desk about 3 times throughout the night starting at 12:30am to inquire about when that “party” would be wrapping up and were just told “shortly.” Very unprofessional. A few hours later, same amount of people outside partying with the same amount of noise, called down to the front desk and were told the same thing. We were on the third floor facing the courtyard (firepit/seating area) and the sound just went right through the walls/window. We could hear every conversation from that “party” outside and not to mention the “lovely” views we got of them “celebrating” all night long. Music speakers were blaring all types of music throughout the night. Our 4 year old was so upset from the noise she couldn’t fall asleep but kept crying because no matter what we tried we couldn’t escape the noise. We basically paid $350 for a place to sit and hold our upset daughter through the night in our arms until we could manage the energy to pack up our belongings and take her to the hospital the next morning for her procedure. We took pictures and videos of the destruction the “wedding” party left behind at 5:00am when they were satisfied with their celebration. A lovely view out our window was full of empty pizza boxes and chip bags, empty liquor bottles and mixers, a woman’s high heel shoes, spare chairs from somewhere, chip bags. It looked like a college frat party. This left a bad taste in our mouths to ever want to stay at this chain of hotels.…
Upon arriving at the hotel, I was excitedly greeted by Tony, the manager. He went out of his way accommodating all of our needs and really cared about us. Tony also gave us the names of some nearby restaurants, and was more than happy to answer any questions about the area. Prior to Covid, I would say I travelled extensively throughout the world. I have never met a manger like Tony. He is absolutely the best! I can’t wait to return on our next visit to Sesame Place!
I reserved 2 suites and one regular room. My family arrived at 4:10 pm and none of the rooms were ready! The manager was offering all kinds of excuses: the hotel was sold out the previous night, there were late checkouts, the staff is working hard, she has worked 60 hours this week. None of this is my problem. So 6 adults and 2 toddlers hung around the lobby until our rooms were ready. At 4:50pm, the last room was ready. We weren’t even offered a bottle of water during this wait. This didn’t end here. One suite had a clogged sink and the other suite had a non-working tv in the living room area. After spending the day at Sesame Place, all we wanted was to relax. But that didn’t happen.
