I definitely need to start reading tripadvisor reviews before booking a hotel!!! This place is terrible!!! Filthy dirty, standing water on the floor of the bathroom, terrible bed, the room smelled horrible, unfriendly staff. I could keep going! And it charges FAR more than it's worth!! Unless you are terribly desperate don't waste your time with this place. Keep looking!!

This hotel does not recognize Priceline or Hotwire reservations- they will not check you in unless Priceline.Hotwire customer service calls them and makes a manual reservation. They assigned someone else my room on the second night and at 2 AM a group of men opened my door with a key. Only the flip lock stopped them. I have bug bites all over me after staying there including a swollen spider bite. There were flies in the room (in NOVEMBER) and crusty dirt on the floors. The toilet never stopped running and the lid didn't fit it. The bed coverings were literally moth-eaten or cigarette-burned with holes. The stink of cigarettes was so bad I slept wearing my mask. I should have just paid more and gone elsewhere. I didn't even shower because the tub was disgusting. There was a hair inside the folded towel. There is no breakfast- that is a lie. They haven't offered breakfast in a year and a half but they still list it in the amenities. There are no words to adequately explain how disturbing this hotel is.

This was the worst motel experience ever. We arrived at 1am due to a late flight. The room was dirty. There were roaches. The room reeked of smoke. Tried to get a different room, But was told there were none available. I didn’t even open my suitcase in this filthy room. I called every hotel around us to try to find something else but every place was full. I slept in my clothes and got out of there as fast as I could in the morning. Find someplace else to stay! The only positive thing I can say about my experience was that my shuttle driver was great.

I woke in the morning to many bugs running all over the floor. I managed to kill a few and take pictures. I had several bug bites. I brought the pictures to the front desk and he responded by saying, "We know, the owners know, we told housekeeping to spray". They have a bed bug infestation, they know about it and are still renting the rooms. I will never go there again, and I recommend you find somewhere else. This hotel should definitely not be a Choice Hotel property.

I went to stay at this Econo Lodge and booked it on line. After getting there, the staff asked me for my credit card like usual. I gave her my cc and ran it. When she gave me the key, she mentioned that i might have a hard time finding a parking spot. Well that's exactly what happened. No parking anywhere. The people staying there were having a party smoking marijuana and drinking beer being very loud. I went back to the front desk and let them know that I could not find a parking spot. It was at 100% capacity. The clerk at the front desk said I would get my money back. As of now i still have not received my money back! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The Econo Lodge Philadelphia Airport should not be a part of Choice Hotels. I have stayed in other bottom-of-the line Choice Hotels in the past (as well as the better ones), but this was the worst. It was dirty, parking was scarce (because the hotel rents parking spaces to travelers), and staff not properly trained in customer service. Not only was there no breakfast, but no coffee served nor any way to make some in the room. The nearest place to get breakfast (or coffee) was 3/4 mile away at WAWA. To add insult to injury, they raised the price to about double what it would be worth because it was Saturday night and they were nearly full. Motels north of Philadelphia that night were also gouging. The only reason we stayed was that we didn't want to sleep in our car.

Used points for a free night and had reservation. When wife went to check in front desk person said she could not see the reservation. Wife wanted to show it on her cell phone and the front desk woman would not even look at it. Then I called the hotel from home and tried to talk sense to the woman and her exact words to me where, "it wouldnt matter if you were Jesus himself I cant see the reservation and she wont get a room and hung up on me. 3 Choice Hotel reps tried to help by calling the hotel and she would not listen to them and even hung up on them. I tried to contact manager and he wont return a phone call. SHAME SHAME

There are SO many bad things that I could say about this place. Non-smoking rooms smell like ash trays. Cigarette burns in the blankets. Dirty sheets on slept in beds. Rooms look like they are only cleaned once a month, at most. Crud on the furniture, muddy footprints on the bathroom floor. Shower head has hard water stains and mold leaking out of, and covering the water jets. And now the good things. ⁰

I don’t know what I expected when my son’s team chose this hotel, but I guess I hoped for a clean bathroom, a working bathroom door knob, and a cleaned out fridge/freezer. I was offered some fireworks by the folks smoking weed next door, hence the 1 star.

This was an okay place to stay for the price. The building was a bit confusing to find and enter. Got there late but had made reservations ahead of time and didn’t scope place out before making reservations. Room looked clean and bed was comfy but that was about it. There was no remote for TV , the window appeared to been recently fixed as broken glass surrounded the window frame and no one bothered to clear the glass around the edges. I was not made aware of breakfast which was at an adjacent hotel ( quality inn). The breakfast was edible but I only stayed one night.
