We had not been to the General Warren Inne in years.... went with another couple who also had great memories of this Restaurant. Setting is lovely, service attentive but food is lacking. Steak au Poive ordered medium well came out well done. Small tasteless butterflied disaster. Beef Wellington was bland. Ceasar salad gets a b+ but is actually too big...

The food, service and ambience here are second to none. I have been here several times for dinner and highly recommend this restaurant. They have a great menu and wine list. There are several tables near a fire place that makes it very cozy in the colder weather

The space is so quaint and hostoric, from the late 1700's I believe. The smell of real burning firewood when you enter during the winter from the fireplace was so nice and refreshing . The rooms -main, private and bar area are all very neat and very well maintained. The food was excellent, from the steaks to the Halibut and...

Historic hotel along with a fine dining restaurant and a well-equipped bar. The place was a warm feeling and the staff was friendly and helpful. (They greeted us in perfect German.) The suites are charming and very comfortable. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and the home-made pastries very much. Definitely a place for someone who is tired of the Hiltons,...

I have been to General Warren a couple of times now. The place is nice and service is good. The food though is just ok, nothing great. My biggest complaint is that they can't cook a steak medium well. Last time I was here I had to send the steak back twice and gave up after that as it was...

Recently took out of town visitors to General Warren Inne. Superb, welcoming service with outstanding food. Not enough superlatives to compliment the attentive, yet non-intrusive, waitstaff. This establishment never disappoints. Highly recommend having dinner here!

There are 8 elegant guest suites authentically restored to 18th century charm. Private bathrooms, central air conditioning, private telephones, WiFi, flat screen cable televisions. A continental breakfast in the dining room the next morning completes a magnificent visit. The Warren Tavern is a spacious bar for dining and spirits, relocated to the original spot of the old tavern from the...

The restaurant was very nice. But the food was very over seasoned. To the point that it was not edible. The staff was very nice. The atmosphere is very quaint, but unfortunately the food ruined the experience.

Since our last experience was very good at the Inne, we were contemplating a delicious meal. Unfortunately, it was not to be. We ordered an appetizer of meatballs which should have given you a hint of what was to come. Out of the four meatballs, two had some burn on the bottom. Our next course was beef wellington. We asked...

We didn't realize this until after we'd eaten, but I wanted to start with the fact that about 6 weeks ago they opened a newly added outdoor dining area and bar behind the restaurant. It's a modern counterpoint to the historic main building (located on what was the original Lincoln Highway). Aside from the lackluster greet-and-seat from the manager (he...
