We spent a very enjoyable Family Christmas at the Tidal Bore Rafting Resort. The spacious 5 bedroom cabin had loads of room to accommodate a party of 12 (with all of the cots on hand we probably could have been 20!), with places to come together and places to drift apart when needed. We arrived to a clean cabin, nicely...

My stay at Tidal Bore Rafting cottages was not flawless but not terrible. The biggest concern was the hygienic situation in the chalet. The rug in the living room had not been vacuumed, nearly every window sill had a large amount dead house flies collected on / around it. Cob webs could be seen in every room of the chalet....

Hi there and thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback. We appreciate it and use all guest comments to make the resort better. The unit (a Russian pine chalet) was swept for all flies the day of your arrival (which illustrates how fast they come back in a log home, particularly when the unit is warmed up) and...

I stayed here for two nights with my parents, husband and our two small children. Although the property has lots of potential, we were very disappointed with the management. Despite the stated senior rate online, they refused to offer this to my parents. Our towels were dirty and when we requested new ones, they never arrived. We had to actually...

Friends and I just returned from Tidal Bore Rafting Resort. We used this as our weekend accommodations while playing golf in the area. This 5 bedrooms, fully furnished cabins are an excellent choice for a corporate function or a get away with friends and family. There are 5 bedrooms (2 with en-suite baths, plus another 4 piece bath and two...

What an awesome experience! The family loved it! Such a unique way to experience and view the tidal bore. Not like river rafting, where as you hold on as a similar kind of boat but with a motor does laps through a variety of waves created from the advancing of the tidal bore, river current and sand bars. From what...

What a blast. Wilson was our guide and we had the pleasure of his mother and aunt being on the trip with us. They were a hoot. We didn't expect this much fun. We did the two hour trip and I am glad we didn't take the four hour trip. Our hands and arms were tired from holding on. Wilson...

Had a great time on the river out with a bachelor part. Our raft captain was a wicked guy and extremely knowledgeable. We stayed two nights in the cabins on site and had a great time. Very peaceful, good price, and great hospitality, the owner introduced himself personally and mad us feel at home. Would definitely recommend for groups of...

I've been rafting quite a few times (summer tradition), but our trip out with Wilson as our guide was the best so far! He checked in with everyone in the boat at the start of the trip for what kind of experience we'd prefer, and did a fantastic job of fulfilling the wishes for an EXTREME! trip. Lots of interesting...

I didn't know what to expect when I decided to do this with my family. It was so much fun and can't wait to do it again! Our guide was Mike Paul and he was so much fun! I even fell out of the raft lol, but he made sure I got back in. We went during extreme tides, my...

We stayed here one night, spacious cottage, we were 6 people that stayed at the cottage, sofa bed not comfortable, not an easy place to find and owners not great at giving directions, I recommend it but find the place during day light, street is a dirt road and sign is dark with gold writing, really hard to find. But...

Hi Jo-Anne Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. We are surprised that you had a hard time finding us. Directions are quite clear on our Web site and on Google maps. We are 10km North of Exit 10 on the East side of a main Hwy (215). One turn off the main highway from Halifax or Truro, and...
