We stayed here while apartment hunting, and my mom and I both loved it! We stayed in Monica's room. Our bathroom was lovely, with soft, fluffy towels, that smelled so good! Roland was very welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with homemade waffles and french toast, and made to order omelettes. Plus,...

Great location, uniquely appointed home. Quiet, with charming sitting room. We spent the evening talking by the fire. Outstanding made to order breakfast served on a fabulous table, laid with locally made pottery. Our room was a bit small, but there are larger rooms at the inn. This is not just a stopping point, but a destination.

Upon arriving at Alpenhof on a frosty December afternoon, the twinkling lights and warmth of the holiday hearth beckoned us to relax and rejuvenate. We absolutely adore this peaceful place with gentle owners who know just the right amount of relationship care needed. Art, music, tea and a delicious breakfast after a perfect 'plump-bed' night's sleep (and great updated Eco-friendly...

FABULOUS!! Literally a home away from home. We booked the cottage, which was perfectly cozy & so wonderful to come back to after spending the days at hospitals. The location was convenient to all destinations. We enjoyed cooked to order breakfasts most mornings, and met some of the other delightful guests. The Alpenhof surroundings are just gorgeous, and on the...

This was my first visit to Pennsylvania and the Philly area. I wanted to stay in a Bed and Breakfast rather my usual Marriott or Hyatt. This place was really cute and comfortable, and Roland, Doug, and Anh made feel welcome.

A great place to stay... out away from the big city but an easy drive to many sites (Philly is a short train ride, Longwood Gardens in Kennett square, Valley Forge, even did a day trip to Gettysburg from here, Brandywine Art Museum is a real jewel). Alpenhof is a very beautiful setting with well kept gardens, historic building (Building...

We came to Media for a funeral of a beloved uncle and this special place made our trip a lot less stressful for us and our two boys. Roland and Ang were most gracious hosts and made us feel so at home for our 3 day stay. The cottage was absolutely perfect, comfy and cozy. Super comfortable beds and the...

Nancy --- Though the trip was one with bits of sorrow and a feeling of loss -- I'm glad that you felt comfortable enough that you didn't have to dwell on anything negative concerning the accommodations. We hope that in your time of grief, the saddness passes soon and healing greets you like the morning sun -- warming your hearts...

Great place. Innkeeper Roland is super personable, attentive enough that you feel very welcome, but not at all in thee way. Main house is very charming. Breakfast was exceptional and hardy. Roland works hard to,personalize it for each guest.
