This was our second visit here. The cabins are very clean and comfortable. We like having a bit of extra room and privacy over a hotel. The decoration is a bit outdated but that is part of the appeal for us. A brief visit from Finnegan was a nice bonus! We will be back every time we are passing through...

We have only stayed at Meyer Country Motel one time and found it an excellent place to stay. The Cabins are sweet and very clean. Milford is a charming town and we plan on coming back again as soon as we can arrange it.

I say thank you to the contributors before me because I'll be honest, I usually wouldn't give a roadside motel like this a second thought. That would of have been a big mistake. I read the reviews and I thought I'd try Myers last night and boy was I glad I did. It was extremely clean, friendly, private, and a...

My wife was attending a Peter Fiore Painting workshop in downtown Milford so we booked a three day stay. The unit we stayed in was quite large, clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed over the weekend of the Penn State/Ohio State match up. Being from Ohio we had some good natured exchanges over...

My husband and I have been traveling to Milford, Pa for the past 15 years and stayed at the same place every year. This year, just by luck, we were able to get a room at the Myer Motel. I can honestly say that we have never stayed away from home and felt so comfortable and welcomed from the minute...

Sharon was warm & friendly and then there's Finnegan-a beautiful friendly pooch. The grounds are great. You're in a mini cabin instead of a room, quiet, private. Can walk to town. Great place, will definitely stay again.

From when you first arrive, you feel like you are staying with family. They were so welcoming at the front desk, even the friendly resident dog came out to say hello. The style of the room was country, rather than commercial, and everything had been carefully chosen. We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning with our coffee,...

Spent a great weekend in a Myer cabin while attending Vintage motorcycle races in nearby NY. Hang out on the front porch after a long day and then stroll down to a seafood restaurant for a nice dinner. Pretty hard to beat!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the Myer Country Motel where for over 68 years our standards of innkeeping excellence have been our trademark. Nestled among the Pocono Mountains of North Eastern Pennsylvania, the cottages sit on four acres with blue spruce and white pine trees lining the courtyard. The Myer Country Motel was established in 1945 by Ralph and Matilda Myer. Ralph remarried in 1952 to Audubon Winfield and they together continued to run the motel well into their 80's until their daughter, Audubon Cox, took over in 1975. She brought her energy and knack for decorating to the motel to give it a country home feel. Many people comment that this is their "home away from home". In June 1995 the third generation took over to continue the family business. Today you'll find the same warm, country friendliness that has set us apart for over 68 years. We hope you will visit us soon! ... more   less
