The hotel is first class. Service is European and the rooms are beautiful with special touches. We had dinner in The Delmonico Room with wine tasting that was superb with a 5 star sommelier. Wait staff was well trained and unobtrusive. Breakfast was also 5 star. The Bar Louis restaurant wAs a real surprise. Inexpensive and impressive from the photo... More

My wife and I spent 2 night at the Relais & Chateaux Hotel Fauchere, and what a gem, on arrival we were greeted by the lovely reception staff and they asked us about our trip from Canada and offered us a glass of wine. The room was very comfortable and well equipped with modern features. There was a Nespresso Coffee... More

Honestly I never expected a place this well run and this perfectly appointed in a small town like Milford, in fact it still seems like a bit of a mirage to me. Not that the town isn't totally wonderful and charming on it's own, but honestly the Hotel Fauchere is a world class hotel and you would never know it... More

As for the food, it was delicious. We had dinner in the downstairs bar both nights we were there. With a transvestite at the bar, and John Lennon/Warhol (?) picture behind it, and atmosphere, it felt as if we were in NYC, rather than a tiny rural PA town,, ha , but anyway I loved the pumpkin risotto and brussel... We have stayed here at least 5 times in the last 5 years. In the beginning the spotty, sometimes indifferent, never super professional service was charming because in this out of the way hamlet the experience was a great value. However, at $492.50 per night this charming, nopt quite ready for prime time, hotel has moved into "bad value" territory.... More

We stayed one night, our 11th Anniversary. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had booked a tasting menu in the dining room that was very fun. Interesting food paired with great wines. The staff was professional, accommodating and friendly. If I had one slightly negative comment it would be next time we stay here (and we will again)... More

Just got back from a weekend getaway to Hotel Fauchere and was delighted. The hotel is charming. The service is first rate including a glass of wine upon check-in, milk and cookies delivered to our room at bedtime and perhaps best of all was the firepit under cozy blankets with home made marshmallows and hot chocolate (and a lovely bourbon... We drove down from Manhattan for a weekend getaway and we were not disappointed. Our room was large and very comfortable. We were greeted with warm hand towels and a glass of crisp white wine. Food at the hotel was really wonderful ( I had the pumpkin risotto) . It felt like a southern charm was in the air. We... More

I rely on tripadvisor to help me plan my trip. Viewing the critique of Hotel Fauchere was accurate. This is a lovely hotel in the center of town. The staff attends to your every need and goes above and beyond to make your stay the best. We really appreciated that they allow dogs. Even our pet got the royal treatment!!... More

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Fauchere last weekend for a quick getaway from New York. We brought our dog along for the journey as well. I can't say enough good things about the property, the food and the staff who couldn't have been more welcoming (especially of our dog). It's a great spot and very convenient. The... More

“We have stayed in this hotel on several occasions and decided to stay in the compact room (#1) to save money. It's really not much smaller than the standard/premium room. We were warned that this room was right over the bar kitchen. Fortunately we didn't hear any noise from the bar, unfortunately this room seems like it's right over the furnace or boiler room and a few times during the evening the furnace/boiler would come on and hum loudly for about 10-15 minutes. So be warned if you want to stay in this room. ”
