We stayed here three nights while traveling between DC and New York. We used it as a home base to explore Amish country and Gettysburg. But, my kids (12, 10 and 8) really didn't ever want to leave the farm. They had fun helping out, going on hay rides and playing with the menagerie of kittens, sheep, goats lambs and...

My daughter and I have stayed here for a few days each of the last six summers (while she was ages 4-9); we absolutely love it. Jim and Mim are welcoming and wonderful hosts and feed guests a delicious breakfast. The farm has chickens, sheep, goats and always a new litter of kittens, which has made it quite heavenly for...

My kids 6 and 8 year old had so much fun they didn't want leave. They enjoyed exploring the farm and helping with the chores. Daughter especially enjoyed gathering eggs from the hens. Our 8 year old really liked playing with the kittens. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Jim and Mim are so welcoming and friendly and their house is...

First let me say that this place may not be for everyone. The property is a real farm complete with farm sounds, farm smells, etc. So if you are looking for a theme park or petting zoo version of a farm then you should probably look elsewhere. But if you are looking for a real down to earth unique experience...

The farm is located in the farmland where you see in the distance horse drawn carriages and fields as far as the eye can see. Mim and Jim are very welcoming and you instantly feel like you have visited many times before. We arrived (my sister and I and 5 kids age 7-11) on good Friday and even with a...

We've stayed here twice & it never disappoints. Since we're a family of 5, the Whispering Pines Suite is just the right fit. The home is cozy, warm & very inviting. Mim's breakfast is to die for especially the zucchini soufflé (yummy). The kids love feeding the animals after breakfast & the hay ride is always a highlight. If your...

We stayed over the last weekend of the season - 26th and 27th of October. Lovely home, with well appointed loft room. Had 2 beds, sink, microwave and private bathroom with a shower (no bath). Plenty of space for a crib. Mim's breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked and delicious, - don't stay too long or your waist will suffer! Farmer...

We just got back from a 2 night stay at the Country Log House Farm and had a wonderful time. It was a great place to chill out and relax -- lots to keep the kids occupied at the farm, and also a great base to head out to other fun activities in the area. The Room: We stayed in...

We spent 3 nights at this farmhouse with our 8 year old daughter in August 2012, after spending two previous night in the Hershey Campground. Jim and Mim were wonderful hosts. Mim cooked great breakfasts, with gluten-free options for our daughter. Jim took us out on tractor rides to the neighboring dairy farm. We fed the animals and collected eggs...

“One piece of advice about your room selection - we stayed in the Loft Room, which is right above the kitchen, so we were awakened before 7 by food prep noise. It was a very small price to pay for the delicious, full breakfast served an hour later, but if you're a light sleeper, you should keep that in mind.”
