Great vacation. Great location. Many things to do. Never bored. Swimming pools, restaurant, activities for adults and kids, camp store if you forgot small things, not far from larger grocery stores for bigger things.
A weekend at Lake in Wood is pure glamping relaxation for me! We've stayed 3 times so far, on a great assortment of level sites. Nice mix of gravel, concrete pads. Very clean restrooms. Indoor pool is a huge hit on the shoulder season or...More

Best campground we have been to. Beautiful property. Pools , activities, pond for fishing or boating , mini golf , goats, shuffleboard, golf cart rentals , etc. weekend themes. Very clean. Pet friendly. So nice we decided to go seasonal here.

I went in the pool and hot tub in early October. The room is totally closed off for winter. The room itself is heated and the pool is heated. The hot tub was very warm but not hot. Still enjoyable. No kids in the hot tub but it's attached to the pool and divided by a wall so you could relax in the hot tub and still be right there to watch older kids swim.
