This Inn could be taken right off the pages of Victorian Living! The rooms are very comfortable. The Inn is decorated in period furniture including an original bedroom suit from 1906. Lois was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good and the coffee excellent....More
We stayed two nights at The Inn of New Berlin and very much enjoyed our stay! The inn is beautiful, the rooms are well appointed, the hosts are most hospitable and the breakfasts were delicious, as were the fresh baked cookies every day! The bed...More
The inn is very comfortable, and very beautiful. Our room (and bed) were great. But those are the easy things. What really put it over the top was the price and the hospitality. The price was better than anything I've found of this caliber. Lois...More

We very much enjoyed our stay. A very cozy and well maintained inn. The hostess is super friendly and made a big nice breakfast. The place is kid friendly. The price is reasonable. There is really nothing to complain about, we felt completely at home

This is Don from Harmony Pa (north of Pitts) Sorry I can't be of any help re: your question but we've never stayed in Pitts and are unfamiliar with availability or costs. If I were staying in Pitts I wouldn't stay right in downtown Pitts I'd stay up North in Cranberry Twp (intersection of I 79 & Pa turnpike) where there are good Hotels, National chains, which I would suspect are cheaper and would have more rooms available at graduation time. Driving time from this area is about 45 min to Oakland and is direct on interstates right through downtown Pitts. As for your Mom's Grandfather and the Inn of New Berlin I can only say he was a super builder. Best to you!
