What a wonderful discovery! The Stone Manse Inn is a lovely, immaculately maintained house dating back to the 1800s and Myra and Phil are wonderful detail-oriented hosts. The location, under ten minutes from downtown Harrisburg is fabulous. The nearby National Civil War Museum is well worth a visit. We loved our room - the Oolite - spacious and charming with...

Myra and Phil are the best hosts! We stayed there a few years ago and they remembered details about us! They welcomed us like we were family. The welcome chalkboard in the room was a nice addition. I jokingly mentioned to them a menu item I had on our last visit and amazingly Phil had it prepared for breakfast! We...

Staying in the Columbite Room during a business trip was a delightful way to close each day. An example of the hosts' thoughtfulness was that coffee and teas were available in the room, including a wonderful high quality herbal tea, that I made and enjoyed every night outside on the porch swing. While I left before most breakfasts were served,...

Myra and Phil were such kind hosts! This was our first B&B experience and it was a great one. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be staying again if we are ever in the area!

True colonial house with lots of character and history. Wonderful hosts who knew the history of the house and had that wonderful blend of being helpful, hospitable, and yet not intrusive. Great breakfasts!

Holly picked this inn as part of a multi day, multi purpose road trip. Having not paid attention to the planning, I was delighted when we arrived at this nearly 300 year old property. The original log cabin style buildings date to the early 1700's. They were covered with a beautiful stone veneer in the early 1800's, and was finally...

My family & I stayed here a few yrs back. (not aug of 15) Our last trip with my father-in-law before we knew it was. The family has poured their hearts into this place and you can feel that when you are there. I hope to get to spend more time there, in the future, but tell anyone I meet,...

This is an historic home and is on the National Register of Historic buildings or whatever. This B and B has been lovingly restored and is an oasis in the midst of much unattractive aspects of life today. The Innkeepers, Myra and Phil, are lovely people who clearly work very hard at their overall hospitality.

My niece came to visit and, rather than put her up in a hotel, I thought a nice B&B would feel more welcoming. The price was very reasonable, room was nice, and the inn is conveniently located off interstate 83. It is located along the yellow breeches creek. There is an office complex across the street but not a big...
