Have been passing this complex of small stone building for years on the way south via 32 to the center of New Hope but never realized a restaurant existed there. This quaint 18th century complex invites curiosity and during the warmer months the ivy covered buildings scream "Come See Us". Easily over looked because of poor signage the restaurant is...

My wife and I have traveled to New Hope numerous times over the last twenty years. We have stayed in a number of B&B's in the area including this one. Wanting to take her some place special for our brief adventure I called the B&B that remained foremost in my mind. I remembered that they had one cottage in addition...

Food is outstanding as is ambience. Ask for terrace in Spring, Summer and Fall and fireplace table in winter. Often overcrowded on on weekends, early time reservations are best. At times the waitresses seem overburdened and a little slow; however, the wait is worth it.

I have to admit that after reading numerous bad reviews I went expecting the worst. But, from the moment we arrived to when we left, we experienced nothing but friendly hospitality. We were in room 5, with a large sitting room, complete with two reading chairs, and a table with 2 chairs, perfect for playing games or enjoying breakfast. Our...

Back in the 80s a group of us would rent all the rooms in an inn for New Years. The Inn at Phillips Mill was one of our most treasured memories. We went back for two weekends recently with a new group of people and found it was as warm, charming and comfortable as ever. The people with us were...

Moldy, musty, light consisted of two 30 watt bulbs. The rooms in the other building might be OK but not the Cottage. Amenities were lacking. Bathroom one level lower than the bedroom. One could hit your head with the gabled ceiling.

Other than the paved roads this is a visit back 200 years. Stay in its 2-story cottage with a blazing fire in its huge stone fireplace and let it burn all night. The setting is remindfull of the Cottswolds in the English countryside. The restaurant needs a liquor license for those like me that hate BYOB limitations.

My husband had a very bad experience here several years ago but decided to give the Inn a second try-- so glad he did. We came to dinner last Friday night and sat outdoors in the quaint patio lined with flowering plants. Our food was excellent: we enjoyed the lamb chops and the scallops. Caesar salads were plentiful as were...

As a restaurant this is a special place and perhaps not for those who judge it on the basis of the food experience alone. I visit relatives in the area and haven eaten here often over the years. As fine dining goes there are certainly better places. But the food is well prepared and at reasonable prices. Can't complain about...

The food is good, the staff is quirky. The garden room is enchanting. Some people are disgruntled and if they don't get their butt kissed then it's all bad. .....not here. Good food, fun waitstaff. We've been here for special occasions as well as just dinner. Never a bad meal. We're from Philly, in center city, where you are in...
