Our recent stay at the Dockside Bed and Breakfast was a terrific experience. Our daughter purchased our stay as a parent wedding gift 2 years ago. We finally got around to using it and don't regret a thing. Bob and Donna were gracious hosts and the accommodations were exceptional. Everything about the place is top notch and high quality. We...

The couple that runs this B&B had the audacity to send me an extremely rude email following my stay because I didn't clean the room before checking out!!! Maybe if maid service was offered ONCE, I would have been able to discard my trash accordingly. Very overpriced, terrible service.

My husband and I booked the Elk Suite at Dockside Bed and Breakfast for our one year wedding anniversary, as it is close to one of our favorite hiking spots Hawk Mountain. What a pleasant surprise! The room was absolutely beautiful with large windows throughout over looking two serene lakes and rolling grass hills. We loved the Jacuzzi tub, and...

The property is beautiful as you drive up, but it feels more like visiting someone than pulling up to a business establishment. We stayed in the Garden Room, which is actually attached to the main house. It was spacious, simply yet tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The owner stopped by and she greeted us not long after we got there....

My husband and I recently stayed in the Elk Room at Dockside Bed and Breakfast for our first wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and serene. The Elk Room has beautiful views of the countryside and the lake on the property. We took advantage of the gazebo that practically sits on the lake to...

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay after purchasing a wine tasting Groupon in New Tripoli. We saw the reviews of this place and figured we would give it a try. It is a beautiful house set in the middle of nowhere. The Elk Suite was nice. It was roomy, with a king size bed, jacuzzi...

My wife and I were looking for a weekend getaway for our 28th anniversary in September and decided to go back to the same place we had been for our 25th anniversary, Dockside B & B. We loved it there the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there once again. The last time we were here we stayed in...

My husband and I were in Pennsylvania for a wedding, and decided to extend our stay by a week to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary. We booked the Elk Suite at the Dockside B&B, and it was incredible. We were not familiar with the area at all, so having a GPS was a godsend. When we arrived, Donna greeted us...

My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to relax and celebrate our anniversary. The Dockside's Bed and Breakfast looked awesome online so we tried to book one of their suites on the deck and next to the lake. We were lead to believe that the 2 rooms attached to the house and on the decks by the...

My wife and I stayed in the Elk Suite in June 2011 for our anniversary. We go to Blue Mountain Winery on occasion and we are familiar with the area. The room was clean and well maintained and yes you are left alone by the owners. There were a few things I missed when I compare this stay with all...

“I recommend choosing one of the rooms not attached to the house for more privacy and asking ahead of time about timing of ongoing work.”

“The Elk Room is the only room with a fridge, sink, and microwave. Since everything is far away, we suggest making meals and then heating them up each day and night instead of going out to eat. The fridge, microwave, and sink allows travelers to do this.”
