We had a wonderful time at the Dinner and Dancing event on July 31st which happened to be our anniversary so we celebrated with excellent food and music. The room was great and breakfast the next day was awesome. The staff is always very friendly and helpful...we love eating and/or staying at the inn several times a year!

Discovered this oasis through a Living Social offer. What a beautiful place! Right off of the PA turnpike who would believe such charm could exist. Great staff, beautifully appointed rooms, excellent hand crafted cocktails and delicious dinner. Looking forward to making many more happy memories here!

Well it has taken us 3+ months to finally get around to writing this review! Hosted our oldest daughter's wedding here on a Saturday in April. In a word, fabulous. It was 80 degrees and she was married outside under the little sheltered area they have off the side of the property. Reception was inside and nicely done. The food...

My son was married at the Ambler Inn and family, close friends stayed the night. It was wonderful! The rooms were nice, very clean. I must say the one thing I noticed was that there was no ability to make coffee/tea in the room, no mini fridge which are things I've always had when staying in a "king suite" for...

Had to come up from NYC by train for an overnight wedding and they even arranged to pick me up at the SEPTA station. Attractive colonial accommodations on beautiful landscaped grounds in a still rural part of PA. Near to many golf courses and places for celebratory events, including at the Inn itself. A marvelous experience.

The Good: (everything) Staff very friendly and very helpful. Went out of their way to help. Beautiful grounds Very comfortable room for nearly 300 years old. Great fresh breakfast included Very reasonably priced, considering chains down the street like Hampton are more expensive. Quiet, even though there was a wedding The Bad: We were only there for 1 night, would...

Enjoyed a peaceful getaway for our anniversary. Staff was very friendly and professional, the room very comfortable. Bed was a little on the soft side with big fat pillows. If you are like me and enjoy a a thin pillow, then bring your own. They may have had different pillows, but I did not ask for one. It was nice...

We have been to Joseph Ambler Inn on several occassions. We went there the first time for our anniversary several years ago, and have returned a number of times, and have sent friends and family there as well. In close proximity to Doylestown - with the wonderful Mercer Museum, Castle and Tile Works, it is a gem of a retreat...

My wife and I had a very nice one day stay at this inn. Very spacious suite with comfortable bed and very quiet as well. Large property in a suburban area but had a secluded feel where we stayed. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Nice restaurant and pub at this inn. The breakfast was good with hot and...

We found this hotel on Travelzoo with a very attractive weekend package. From the photos, it seemed a typical Bucks County B&B - elegant brown fieldstone buildings, lovely grounds, restaurant on premise, and a very bucolic and pastoral setting in the PA countryside. The grounds are in fact quite attractive, and give the feel of being in the countryside. But...
