What a great romantic hotel. I was skeptical because I had never stayed at a Boutique Hotel and I don't really like bed & breakfasts. It had all the nice amenities of a big hotel, but was very quiet and romantic. Nice martini bar and great service. We would go back in a minute. Shopping in nearby Shady Side was...

Their exorbitant rates demand a level of amenities and conveniences which the Sunnyledge hotel is unable to provide. My elderly parents checked into this hotel at 9pm one evening in the middle of summer, after a two day journey. They had reserved a room 5 months ahead of time, and had specifically requested a particular suite. They were told upon...

This past weekend we were in Pittsburgh and thought it would be nice to try the Sunnyledge. Bad choice on our part. The room, which was a deluxe and $199 per night, was about the size of a shoebox, the toilet ran all night with noise, the bed didn't even have a head board, and the ceiling was so low...

This was our second visit in 12 Months to Sunnyledge. We were especially delighted by the fact that we were welcomed back to the hotel with a complimentary room upgrade to one of their suites and canapes and flowers waiting in our suite. As usual the accomodations were pristine and most comfortable. The sheets were crisp and fresh, the mattress...

This hotel pretends to be higher class than it is. My room was adequate but gloomy (the window being just about 4' x 2'). Also, they double charged me claiming that I had made two reservations instead of one (which I didn't) and doing exactly nothing to help resolve the issue. The whole operation seems quite amateurish, the staff are...

We were lucky to find a room in Pittsburgh due to the Philadelphia/Pittsburgh NFL game last weekend but due to a last minute cancellation a fabulous suite opened up at Sunnyledge Boutique Hotel in Shadyside. The decor was lovely and the service first rate. It reminded me of being in a cozy inn in England but with much better food....

Sunnyledge was a terrific respite from a hectic two day interview process at a local hospital in Pittsburgh. Although my focus was on securing a position in Pittsburgh I did find time to enjoy an extremely comfortable two nights of sleep on the Sunnyledge extra comforatble beds. Fortunately Pittsburgh was experiencing a warm from when I visited and as a...

Are stay at Sunnyledge began with a warm greeting from our personal valet as we pulled into the belgian block driveway of this spectacular old mansion which has been lovingly restored to meet all of todays luxury standards. Upon check in my partner and I were greeted by a charming manager who accompanied us to our second floor suit which...

Sunnyledge is teh ideal place to stay if you have business to attend to in the Oakland/Shadysiide area. the location from the hospitals and universities makes it ideal not to mention the close proximity to town. The decor is charming and is reminiscent of old Europe perhaps one of the small Swiss hotel like Le Richmond. The chambers are cozy...

I was appalled. For a place that calls itself a luxury hotel, it was abominable. There were rips in the pillowcase, and indelible stains on the sheets. These certainly weren't the Frette linens they advertise - they were cheap, cheap linen. The carpet was stained in a couple of different places. There was something wrong with the toilet; I told...
