Quaint B&B. Comfortable and spacious rooms. The service is what stood out. Everyone was friendly and so helpful. The person in the office, the server we enjoyed at breakfast each morning and even the chef were really engaging and kind and really understood customer service. The food was also excellent. Highly recommend.
A wonderful location in Pittsburgh. The hospitality was beyond words. Wine in the evening, a gourmet breakfast in the morning made to order. Beautiful gardens as well. It is one of those places you could linger longer. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.
Stayed at the Inn on Negley while in Pittsburgh. Located in Shadyside, it is run by highly professional staff. Very clean, beautifully appointed and top-notch (even powerful shower -- woo hoo!) Off-street parking, too -- rare in the city. Breakfast was great, tailored to what I can and can't eat, and even better, available at 7. When travelling on business, I can rarely stay in B & Bs because they assume everyone is vacationing and sleeping in. This place accommodates both, and extremely well. Cookies in the afternoon and wine early evening. Would highly recommend, and I'm already trying to figure out when I can come back.
Superb in every way! Check in a breeze, delicious full breakfast served always with a smile, happy hour to wind down and meet fellow guests. There are 8 suites. Ours was comfortable, very clean and high end toiletries. Thank you Larry for your kind attention!! And the location is very convenient to local restaurants, shopping and culture.
Recently stayed four nights in the Arkansas Black room while vacationing in July. Accommodations were cozy and comfortable! Delicious breakfast prepared by Chef Nick and served by Jess who was friendly, courteous and professional! All staff were pleasant, met our needs while exceeding expectations! Highly recommend!
Stayed in the Pippin Room on the third floor. If stairs are not an issue, then this is a wonderful choice. Roomy and comfortable with a large bathroom, and very charming. Breakfasts were very tasty, and wine is served at 4 pm. All in all, a lovely place to stay.
This is a fabulous Inn in Pittsburgh’s shady side area. The rooms are decorated so beautifully. The breakfast was excellent-orange vanilla French toast just exceptional. Service was wonderful and everything was clean. The location is perfect. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We visited Phipps while we were there and it was just a short drive. We’ll definitely be back!
Wonderful bed and breakfast. Rooms are spacious, clean, quiet, and have a lot of charm. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was holiday time so we got to experience the decorations. We did not partake in the tea time, or eat at the bed and breakfast too much. Even without experiencing the tea, just staying at bed and breakfast is worth it. The area is nice and the property feels safe. We will be back!
The food here is absolutely wonderful. You will never be disappointed, My friend and I go to the Inn for high tea at least 4 times per year. My husband and I stayed at the inn once (we even live local) for our anniversary and it was perfect. Liz the owner makes you feel like family, the service is spot on, and as i said.......food........YUM ! Chef Albert is a gem.
We spent five days, Oct. 18-22, with our travel group at the Inn at Negley. We love to stay in B&Bs when our group travels and this B&B is top notch. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the attention to detail is perfect, the breakfasts were amazing! We enjoyed Happy Hour with their complimentary wine each day out on their lovely back deck. We enjoyed the parlor in the evenings for playing games. We cannot give higher praise to this lovely B&B in Pittsburgh's Shadyside neighborhood.
