We stayed at the Inn for a long weekend to explore the sights of Pittsburgh. Ed was very helpful, filled us in on things to know about getting around, about various museums and places of interest, and lots of great historical facts. He offered terrific recommendations, and discounted tickets to a few of the museums we wanted to visit. We...

I suppose the title says it all (you can read my previous review for our first time impressions and experience). The Parador has it all....Victorian mansion atmosphere, central location, breathtaking architecture, plenty of reserved parking right at the house (that's huge in Pittsburgh, believe me), a lovely "secret" garden, and breakfasts filling enough that you won't need lunch. We met...

We stayed in The Parador on the North Shore of Pittsburgh one Friday night in mid September prior to riding the Great Appalachian Passage. The host met us right on time at the 3 pm check-in time and showed all through the beautifully renovated old mansion. It is located on a very pleasant residential street a short walk from the...

We had a great stay in Pittsburgh, enjoying the Nationals-Pirates game at PNC, visiting the Aviary, and generally walking around this wonderful city on a fabulous weather weekend. The Parador is an old building with beautiful period pieces and immense attention to detail throughout. While Ed is not the most social of hosts, he is very knowledgeable regarding the inn and...

The Parador is a great place, clean comfortable and close to everything. We spent the weekend and was able to walk easily to Heinz Field and PNC Park. Breakfast was great and the staff was awesome, we will be back again soon.

Hi, My reservation system can't do a search by city or zip code, so I'm not sure who you are. But I certainly appreciate your review. A business can't purchase advertising as powerful as a personal recommendation. Thank you, ed

The Parador is in a historic home on the North side, very close to Heinz Field for football games. Free parking right next door, but small, so don't drive your Suburban! A typical Victorian type house with associated decorations and trim and squeaky stairs. I don't really understand the attempt at Caribbean styling. Rooms are spacious, some like small apartments...

I found this bed and breakfast by accident roaming the map of Pittsburgh on Google Maps. Check-in was seamless, the mansion was gorgeous, and our room was comfortable. I stayed in the Lady Palm suite. Interesting fact about the Lady Palm is that it has a view of the Rooney Mansion from the back window. The bed and breakfast is...

A gem in Pittsburgh. Reasonable rates, absolutely fantastic rooms and a very helpful and knowledgeable host. For those who stay in the second floor, the stairs maybe for some a bit of a challenge, however the host will help with the suitcases. Fantastic, way above average breakfast. We will stay here again.

Loved our over-night visit to the Parador Inn! The common areas are lovely and spacious, the garden and yard is a great place to relax, and best of all, play with the two beautiful black labs! We were in the Ruellia suite in the second floor of the carriage house. This is a two-room suite with a large living area...
