Stayed here two nights for a business conference. Very nice. Located right in Station Square. A cool area on the opposite side of the river from downtown Pittsburgh. Friendly Staff - Lauren was awesome and quite helpful at the front desk. Many of the rooms are being renovated or have been. I had a nice king-size bed and a huge hotel room with a view of the river and the stadiums. Walking distance to multiple restaurants and bars. Beautiful views. Will definitely stay here again if I return to Pittsburgh. The only negative is the expensive parking ($30 per night) and they need to update their doors. Lots of noise outside in the hallway could clearly be heard inside the room which disrupted sleep both nights.

Stayed here for a business conference. The hotel is presently undergoing major renovations, the reason for 4 stars. Restaurant is closed. However, there are many restaurants nearby. I was given a room that had just been renovated 2 weeks ago, and it was lovely! Staff was friendly and helpful - appreciated Debra's help when checking in.

We were here on a nice Fall Sunday afternoon for two days. We were able to check In early and parked near the door for $30 a night. The hotel is newly renovated with a beautiful lobby and bar area. Our room was a very nice king size room with a very nice, new shower. My issues are that the place was empty and they didn’t upgrade us to a river view even though we have Marriott membership. The new bathrooms have only one towel hook, no venting or fan. The a/c went off an on all night and sounded like a train going through the room. The front staff was apathetic and couldn’t be engaged in conversation. No brochures available on the city or any information on the hotel. There is a small coffee shop but no restaurant. We found the only breakfast in the area in a bar across the street. There is no security for doors or elevators. The immediate area was dead with a few restaurants. None of the boats were running even on the weekend. An outdoor fireplace would be nice as well as a sandwich shop or something similar to the Sheraton Wharf in San Francisco.

Went on Friday night boatrides on the Gateway Clipper. First we stayed at the Wyndam downtown in July. It was horrible. We returned in August for my husband's birthday and stayed at the Sheraton/Marriot Bonvoy. Near resturants and walking distance to boat. Parking not free but option to park during ride $8.00 or leave over night and pay less than hotel parking fee.Clean nice size room. Updated from what pictures I saw when booking.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Station Square for a friend's wedding. The room was very nice, modern, and clean. The staff was very friendly, especially Lauren at the front desk who was extremely accommodating. The food at the wedding and brunch was very good. And the venue with the views of the city was fantastic! Even the nearby passing trains could not interrupt the reception as the sound reducing windows were very high quality. I'd highly recommend staying and/or having a wedding here!

This is the place to stay where you're not in the heart of the city and can take a breather from the rat race. The Sheraton is next to the soccer stadium as you drive into Station Square. The hotel is along the water with private & safe outside parking directly next to Gateway Clipper Fleet which can shuttle you across the water, directly downtown along the water. There are multiple restaurants within a couple blocks (Hard Rock Cafe, Buca di Beppo, buffets, fast food, Gandy Dancer or, The Concourse) plus many more. There's a lot to see and do around the hotel. It also has a large swimming pool next to the fitness center, a Starbucks and very friendly and helpful hotel smployees (thanks Lauren!). Unfortunately, they should refrain from allowing dogs. On our last day, the dogs did their business all over the side exit to the parking lot. Needless to say this put a damper on the experience but, overall, I'd stay here again.

Location is awesome for restaurants and city activities, wonderful view and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They are currently under construction so no restaurant within the hotel, and lots of maintenance happening. The pool is big and clean, no hot tub. Room was good, the bedding and bathroom were clean. One chair appeared to have pet hair on it, although could have been a kind of micro-fiber aging. Bare minimum toiletries. The air conditioner is loud when it turns on throughout the night.

My son was going to arrive much earlier than check in time and hadn't slept all night so was hoping to get his room earlier than the check in time of 4:00. I called the front desk in the morning and was told by the man answering the phone that the hotel was booked and an early check in time was nearly impossible so my son should go enjoy the Square since its such a nice day. I called a couple hours later and Mya answered and without any hesitation on her part, she said she has my son's room available and he can go straight to the hotel to check in!! Mya was extremely understanding and sweet during our entire call. Great customer service my MYA!!!

We found that the hotel did a wonderful job given they are in the middle of renovations. In particular we found that the café attendant named Betina went above and beyond for us. Outgoing personality and ability to help us with a good dinner at first night there really shine when she offered to bring it even up to our room! She has amazing customer service and made me and my two little kids feel very special and made our trip to the Sheraton that much better! We love the pool we obviously had a tour sales both night and we loved our room which was recently updated you could tell it had a more contemporary field than in the past when we were here years ago. We had an amazing view that ever looked the river and very comfortable beds! We loved everything! We decided to stay here because my husband was in the Pittsburgh marathon and we wanted to be close to everything and not worry about parking this was far is feeding our expectations of what we wanted! And check out the beautiful view in our pictures both nights there was beautiful sunset!

decided to try this location for the weekend. some allowance has to be given for construction since the restaurant was closed as well as the atrium. the construction workers were very quiet and we never heard them. the room was very nice, clean and comfortable. the coffee shop was open which we were thankful for since my husband and I are huge coffee drinkers. my only disappointment with the hotel was that I had called before making reservations to make sure the pool and spa were open and was told they were open. I especially need the spa for my back. when we went to the pool, we found the pool was open but what used to be the hot tub was cemented over. needless to say I was extremely disappointed. besides this though we enjoyed our stay. one note about parking is that if you have the parking charged to your room and keep you parking stub, it will give you in and out privileges for the parking lot attached to the hotel as well as the garage across the street.
