We just spent 5 days/4 nights in one of the Hill Suites. The suite was outstanding! Huge main area with king bed, sofa & 2 chairs, mini fridge & microwave, big screen TV, gas fireplace (which we didn’t use). The bathroom has a big walk-in shower with 4 (count ‘em, 4) shower heads - 1 regular one, 2 adjustable ones in the front wall that spray outwards at about waist height, and one big “rainfall” shower head overhead. Plus there’s a big jetted tub which was great after a long day of outdoor activities. The resort itself is a really large wooded property with a very picturesque lake. Very tranquil, peaceful and quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for. And just a short drive away are lots things to do, places to eat, activities to enjoy. We’re already planning our next visit. 😁 Oh, one more thing - the woman at the reception desk in the office was absolutely delightful!

Stayed for the weekend in the LUXURY SUITES. After the first night we waited for our room to be made up… Talked to the office and was informed that we would have to clean up our own bathroom, make our bed, and go to the office to pickup our own fresh towels and amenities…REALLY?!! $400.00/night - (peak season) - and there are NO HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES?!! TERRIBLE CHOICE TO CUT SERVICES BUT STILL CHARGE A PREMIUM…for a bed - AND your checkout time is STILL 10am on a Sunday…NO ONE IS CHECKING IN…. the least you can do is have a reasonable checkout time for the price - since I am doing my own housekeeping! Let your guests sleep in a little bit and have time for coffee before you kick them out! 1-star review! It’s a shame because the resort is beautiful - however the customer service is lacking!

This is our go to place for escape in the Poconos. We found it during the pandemic when we needed a safe get away and now we keep returning for the peace, quiet, beauty and(relative) value. We love the cabins that are clean well maintained and have heat and air conditioning (we used it for the first time this visit). The kitchen had granite counters is fully stocked with utensils and has a dishwasher. While there is no daily service, they pick up trash left outside in a bear proof bin daily. You can get more towels if needed. The photos on the website of the interiors do not do the cabins justice. the Internet is ROCK stable for streaming for 2 people. I brought my work set up and next visit will plan to work remotely for a day or so. The nature trail is lovely and shaded. It is lovely in all 4 seasons. There is no pool but there are 2 beaches with playgrounds. Value: we bring food and cook simple meals for 2 meals a day and go out one meal a day. This saves us a lot over other places to stay where you can't cook, I would estimate about $100/day in savings. Mid week pricing is a little lower and now that I know I can work from here, we could come more often. We thought about buying in the Poconos but we like the beach and have out of town relatives we visit often so we would be able to get here about 3-4 times per year. Staying here is less costly for us than a seasonal rental or buying.

This place is an absolute gem among the many has-been and somewhat disappointing resorts in the Poconos. It retains its rustic charm well while still having the luxurious touches you'd expect at the price point. We've stayed in the cabins and in the new suites, and both are exemplary among their peers in the Poconos. The suites have showers you'd expect to see at the St. Regis or the Four Seasons as well as lovely fireplaces. The cabins have their own docks with rowboats and truly feel like a quiet lake retreat that is increasingly hard to find. The nature trail is great for hiking and running, and the beaches are fun with playground equipment (that even adults can use).

Stayed in one of the Hill Suites for two. Such a beautiful room. Impeccably clean. Excellent luxuries. Even had a Nespresso Vertuo machine with a variety of coffee capsules provided. Quiet with nice views. Huge shower and also a tub with jets. Gas fireplace was great for a cold day. Want to come back in the warmer weather for walks on the expansive property and time on the lake with the provided boats. Nice front and back porches as well with Adirondack chairs. Perfect for a quiet getaway. You will not be disappointed.

Extremely unorganized and unprofessional. By mistake they gave away our booking of cabins for my daughters wedding in 2019 as we were mid-way through planning. They straightened it out and we moved on. They cancelled her 2020 wedding due to Coronavirus…understandable. They took 60 days to refund our money, discovered 2 months after the last refund was made that they feel they made a mistake and refunded us too much through our credit card and are now threatening to sue us for criminal activity to unjustly enrich ourselves if we don't pay up in 7 days. Oh, and the week they gave us to investigate 3 years of credit card charges to see if we agree with their finding was the week of Thanksgiving when we were not even home to be able to do so.

Very clean cabin with good covid19 protocols at the resort. A group of families staying at the resort didn't social distance from us as much as we would have liked, with their kids running all over the place unsupervised, but because the resort is spread out, it was easy enough for us to avoid them. We were disappointed that there isn't actually a tennis court, as marked on the property map on the resort's website, but otherwise, everything lived up to our expectations. We would visit again.

Amazing staff!, Cabin was clean and comfortable. It had snowed on the day of our arrival. Arrived late in the evening and the lights and heat were on in the cabin waiting for our arrival. Peaceful setting! Can be a little pricey depending on the cabin you choose.

For 500 dollars a night go somewhere else. The cabins are dated, the bathrooms have decade old mildew growing on the plastic shower. The 20 year old a/c unit is only in the living room. The flat screen tv,as advertised, is an old very small monitor that barely works, the entire place smells like a mildew because there is carpeting is over 20 years old and filthy. They dragged a picnic bench into the kitchen and put a laminate top on it and call it a dining area. See pictures below. Need I say more?
