The Carnegie Inn is one of the nicest hotel s that we have ever stayed in. The hotel has about 20 rooms and reminds you of a B&B in New England. The hotel appears to be fairly new. Upon arriving we were greeted by a very friendly young lady who checked us in. We were given a second floor room...

After travelling from New York by train and hire car, the stress of driving on the wrong side of the road, I was welcomed by a demand for my credit card and ID. No "welcome to the Carnegie Inn and Spa". It was odd, and I was a bit put off, but I think the man might have been in...

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review regarding your recent stay at The Carnegie Inn. Allow me to apologize on behalf of our hotel for failing to meet your expectations regarding my front desk agent. I have shared your feedback with the gentleman and worked through his introduction. While visiting family in the area, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Carnegie. Atmosphere was warm and hospitable. The menu was varied with something for everyone, and our meals and the presentation were top notch. We were very impressed with the chef's creation for a special meal for a dietary issue. We highly recommend a visit to this restaurant...

This place was very clean and cozy. The price was excellent. Our room was huge. The only downside was our bed was hard, but many people like a harder more firm mattress. I would not bring children, but it is great for adults and couples. I would definitely stay here again without even second guessing it. The staff were very...

Appreciate your review. We encourage and enjoy having children stay but for a getaway maybe leave the kiddies at home and experience a nice romantic weekend with spa services and excellent cuisine. Hope to see you again.

Passing through state college PA. On the way to Ohio looking for a place to stay I came across The Carnegie Inn. The best decision I've made in a long time. Beautiful building set on the edge of a scenic golf course. We had a spacious comfortable room just a short walk to the fabulous restaurant. Food was great service...

We stayed at the inn when we came to visit family. We couldn't be happier with our room and the inn. We didn't dine there as we ate with family, but the rest of the inn we highly recommend, as always! Thanks for another great stay!

Recommended by friend to stay at this Inn. Was not disappointed at all. Breakfast that was included was made to order. Treated myself to a spa day and was not disappointed. Manager was readily available and pleasant.

Kind older gentleman working the front desk, very helpful. Nice made to order breakfast included in the night, which was at a reasonable rate (about a third the price of the nittany lion while I was there, for a comparable room (size, comfort level). Downside is that the rooms in front face the headlights of cars parking in front. On...
