We often stay at the Nittany Lion Inn when visiting State College. The student-staff is lovely, the bar serves a well concocted drink, nicely appointed rooms greet travelers, and the common areas are laid out with comfy sofas, pianos, book shelves. Of course, the best reason is the location. Set at the north west corner of campus, the inn will...

I recently stayed at Nittany Lion Inn with my granddaughter, who was visiting Penn State to decide if she wanted to attend there next year. Since we flew into State College and had no car, the Nittany Lion Inn was the perfect hotel, as we were picked up at the airport by the hotel, and we could walk everywhere on...

So the question remains...what did your daughter think? We unabashedly think that Penn State is the best and are hoping she does too. Maybe we will see you more frequently when she chooses PSU! Thank you for choosing to stay here, we know there are a lot of options out there.

My wife and I try to visit our oldest daughter who is currently a 2nd year law student at Penn State as often as we can. Every time we plan a trip we love to stay at the Nittany Lion Inn. The rooms are quaint. The prices are reasonable. Our favorite thing is their wonderful breakfast. Looking forward to our...

Glad to hear that you come to visit frequently also pleased to hear about your great experiences with our breakfast. We have been told that we have the best bacon in town, and maybe sausage too! Best to your Daughter in her Law School endeavors.

The Nittany is a special experience. Nothing else like it at State College. The transportation provided is very good if and when you need it. Food and service is excellent. Don't miss out on the Sunday breakfast/brunch. Great location with walking distance to downtown, athletic events, etc.

Pleasant, comfortable, and very convenient ! Delicious food and friendly staff members! Talented pianist ad cozy fireplace in lobby! My son attends PSU and the Nittany Lion Inn is by far my favorite property in the State College area.

Thank you for taking a few moments to share your experience regarding your recent stay with us at the Inn. And you are indeed right, that fireplace in the lobby makes it more special on those cold blustery central PA days that we tend to get here in State College during the winter. Glad you enjoyed yourself and best of...

Another wonderful overnight at a cozy retro Inn on Main Campus. Convenient to everything, and the rest is just a comp shuttle away! Don't miss the Palmer Museum, the Creamery, downtown, and of course, the Nitanny Lion sculpture!

Convenience certainly is part of staying with us here at the Inn. I am so pleased that you were able to enjoy your stay and hopefully just leave your car parked. And you are right, so many neat things to see and do here at Penn State that you could stay busy for days.

We stayed at the Nittany Lion Inn for one evening in mid January to see a Penn State hockey game and a basketball game the next day. The Nittany Lion Inn was a wonderful place to stay for the evening. They provide free shuttle service to and from events on campus. The rooms were very clean and decorated very nicely....

It has nostalgic charm that starts as soon as you drive up to the front door. Pick up an apple in the main lobby to take with you whenever you pass through. The rooms are warm and comfy and staying in a suite is a wonderful experience where you have privacy and comfort at an even higher level. There is a...

I always loved to come here with my family when I was a kid. I was happy to see "the Inn" is just as nice as always and enjoyed showing it off to my husband for the first time. He loved it just as much as I. Look forward to returning again!

The room was comfortable and the amenities were nice, including the daily paper being placed at my door each morning. Staff was friendly and willing to help. Television did not work so I had to call maintenance to come and fix it. Maintenance "fixing" it was the gentleman smacking the television with much force. The water in the room was...
