Attended a concert at the Sherman Theater and was looking for a room within walking distance. Penn Stroud had no rooms available, so against my better judgment, we booked a room here. The reviews were not too promising. I really can’t complain about anything. Room and bathroom were clean, heater worked perfectly and was quiet, and bedding was clean and crisp. Front desk was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again. Ask for room 112.

Have stayed here in past with no issues. But this time we found dead bugs in bathroom, clearly visible. Leeds me to believe rooms not cleaned well, especially bathroom. The a/c did not keep room cool. It was in high 80's, but still we expected a comfortable room. Stuffy to sleep. Bed was comfortable though. Don't mind doing cheap every now a d then, but I never expect or want bugs. Only here 1 night.

I checked in and checked out within 10 min of this so called Inn after I stepped foot inside room.# 204. If I could give this place Minus 5 Stars it wouldn't be enough to describe how bad it really is. Sat 9/18/21 I arrived at the Bridge Views Inn. There was no Lobby or a front desk to check in. But I noticed a tiny speakeasy window that was outside under a very dingy overhang. The window was so dirty and dark I could hardly see the woman inside. That should have been my first clue to go no further. But I didn't. Listen to myself. I am not a Hotel/Motel Snob. I have stayed in some questionable Hotels/Motels in my life. I simply go by the motto. If its clean and smells ok, its good enough for one night. It doesn't have to have a multi star rating for me to stay in it. It just has to be inhabitable. Unfortunately The "Bridge Views Inn " didn't meet any of those expectations. When I walked into the room it smelled awful. So much so it made me gasp. The second thing i noticed was the amount of flying and Crawling bugs throughout the room. The open gap at the bottom of the entrance door explained how easily these bugs get in. The room was also dark, dreary and not very clean. I pulled back the bedspread and check for bedbugs. ( No Bedbugs that I noticed BTW) But one look at the stained mattress convinced me to leave as fast as I walked in. To me, it was a scene from the movie. "Silence of the Lambs. After all of that, There was no way I could stay at this place. I walked back outside to the little Speakeasy window and told the lady " This hotel is NOT what I expected. There are bugs in the room and its smells." I am leaving. I also asked her if she would refund my money or at least make an adjustment. She simply said no. So I lost $151.51 But trust me, It was well worth it. . In my humble opinion. Stay away from the Bridge Views Inn at 100 Park Ave in Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Sleep in your car, Under a Tree or out in the open on a dirt road. Just stay far away from the Bridge Views Inn.…

This place was very expensive for the quality of the hotel. The hallways smelled like damp and cigarette smoke. The room was not cleaned very well. There was hair on the shower walls. The remote control was very dirty. Bathroom fixtures had stains. Towels had old stains but seemed freshly washed. Bed linen was clean but thin for the cold weather. Staff was nice enough and provided extra towels and blankets as requested. It was very easy to get food delivery dropped off. Don’t use Free WiFi, my phone was hacked during my stay.

Checked in and within 15 minutes checked out. The room had a horrendous smell and dirty. We requested another room, but there was not available, even though the parking lot was empty. The sheets on the beds were grey/ dingy and the microwave was filthy dirty. Plus it was probably 50 degrees in the room when we arrived. The lady at the front desk was very nice and refunded our money.

This is pretty much what I expected. Outdated but convenient. Quick walk to the Sherman. Just there overnight for a place to crash after the show, but went to get a shower in the morning and the pull up diverted wasn't working, so a trickle with cold water, and a lot less than a trickle with hot water. Disappointing. I did report it to the front desk and she did offer to give me a key to another room to grab a shower and apologized but I needed to be on my way home. So if you get room 117, make sure the shower is working before the morning comes around.

me and my friend were staying in this hotel and we saw a rat and then after we went to go tell the front desk and the lady did not do anything about it it looked like she would always get these complaints.i would not want you to spent your money.

Checked in after 7 pm. Room 204, 1st floor. We went out for dinner, came back around 9 pm. Room had a smell (not pleasant...). We had to keep the door open for a while to get rid of the smell. The pillow cases,sheets, towels were worn,old,dirty (multiple stains... felt like it was not changed after people who stayed before us) Very dusty room. (ex: swiped with the finger over the headboard, dust thick - 3/4 of the finger) We complained to the front desk lady. Without any questions we were given the keys for room 201 to check. We inspected the sheets -> same. We went back to the lobby, there was an Indian couple at the front desk. When we told them about the room condition, the man smiled and instead of apologizing and offering to clean the room, he asked me if we want to sign out. Seriously!!! I asked the lady to go with us and see for herself ( both rooms). She did and agreed with us, at the same time not surprised, and unfortunately it looked like she was used to this kind of complaints... Then we were given another room, 205. We stayed one night. Slept in our cloths, covered the pillows with our own towels ( we usually carry with us) Very disappointed !!!! Refund our money would be the least they can do…

OMG. Walked in the room and there was a stench so bad that it was difficult to breathe. Had no choice but to stay here. The reviews said it was good, they lied. When first getting to the hotel we walked up the back staircase and found a shirt and a thong. Left for the town about 20 minutes later and it was still there. Came back 3 hours later and guess what..... yup it was there and the following day too. Shows how much they clean and care for the property. The door was about 2 inches to short leaving a big gap so anyone or anything can look or crawl in uninvited. BUT the lobby is locked and if you have to talk to the staff you have to talk through a window. We had to stay 2 nights and the second night had to spray a half bottle of deodorizer to sleep.. if you booked a room, get your $$$$ back and stay elsewhere even if it means driving to the center of town.…

Clean, comfortable beds. A little dated. Bathroom had some water stains and the toilet seat was loose. Could hear slight noise from other room but not bothersome. Breakfast was adequate and staff was accommodating. Coffee was surprisingly good and hot for a continental breakfast. Super easy to get to from the highway, gas station and convenience store right next to it. Easy check in and check out. Good place to lie your head down for the night
