I stayed here for a week spanning June and July 2022 and loved it. The staff (under new ownership/management, I was told) could not have been warmer or friendlier. They immediately made me feel welcome: answered all my questions, showed me to my room, and helped with the luggage cart. The courtyard is the real star here. It immediately took me back to the "Holidome" style hotels of my youth (do a quick Google image search for "Holidome" if you don't recognize the name -- I'm sure you'll recognize the style). Great pool, rock features, video games, plenty of good seating throughout, etc. Lots of fun and perfect for a nostalgia junkie like me. I recommend a Poolview room if you can get one. Mine was on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the entire courtyard. I did remote work out on the balcony during the day and would relax there in the evening -- it was great. Good wifi throughout the place. Brand new laundry machines. Restaurant, gas station, convenience store, all within easy walking distance. Right next to Pocono Creek. Super-convenient to I-80 as well. I was in town for one night with a friend. Booked a 2x queen for $300. We had time to grab keys, drop bags, and rush off to our plans in town about a mile walk. We drove past the property once and when we turned around realized that the hotel is offset and looked so closed and run down it didn't even catch our eye. Even the parking lot was in bad shape. Standing in front of the building, it looked dark and closed despite the sign that said open. Walking in, it was HOT. No a/c in the reception area. Warmer than outside. The place is literally in the process of being gutted. The bar/restaurant is closed and gutted. While waiting to get keys, a woman was at the desk complaining that she needed a new room -- her room had hair on the pillow and the sheets hadn't been washed. That should have been our cue to walk away. We had to grab and go so we didn't stick around. The pool area -- we were so shocked we took pictures. It looks right out of Three's Company. The outside of the room looked like a motel except it was inside. An in wall air conditioner stuck out and a big picture window. Now -- the room. Smelled like smoke. Gross. We cranked the A/C unit down and at least that worked. The room was nasty. Stains on the ceiling over the bed, a extra door that led to a hallway a behind the rooms -- weird, the bathroom was dirty. Hair on the floor, stained ceiling and sink. Really gross. We had no options so we checked the beds that seemed safe enough to sleep in and we left first thing. I contacted Hotels.com in hopes of a refund. They were less than helpful so I'll never use them again. (I couldn't write a review there because the property is already off their site.)…

This place looked great in the pictures BUT DO NOT be deceived. We booked it on Priceline and the place was not clean, it was cheap $ 120.00 but DON'T BE CATFISHED! The hotel was old and rundown. The refrigerator smelled like an ashtray and there were insects in the room. We left after being there abt 35 mins. You get what you pay for. Yikes!

STAY AWAY!!! Was trying to find relaxing spot not far from Nyc.Rented room with jacuzzi. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! -RESTAURANT AND BAR UNDER CONSTRUCTION - MARIJUANA SMELL IN HALLWAY -UATENDED KIDS AND NOICE IN THE POOL FROM 10AM TILL 10PM OK -SEX AND ALCOHOL WELCOME IN THE POOL( in front UNATTENDED kids...as per emploee,who told me you can do whatever you want,...EVEN HAVING SEX IS OK!!! So if you want TO DO whatever you want, you are very welcome in this place. Hew ownerhip. You returned columns abow king size bed to previous owners, but you cannot change blankets with cigarette markes from previousowners?!!! SHAME ON YOU!!! After this hotel, you begin to appreciate your home in NYC with all amazing attractions nearby.

With the hotel being recently sold we weren't sure what to expect. With that being said we will definitely be coming back . Yes there was some things that where in need of repairs but there is proof the new owners are putting money in to the property and trying to gett the location to it's true potential. Definitely enjoyed the pool area and it's definitely one of a kind and a big selling point for us when booking

Recently stayed overnight and wasn't completely horrified. Its obvious that the previous owners left the facility in disarray but it's also clear that the new owners are making an attempt to turn that around. This facility has a lot of potential and can be an excellent and affordable getaway once renovations are complete. Large and beautiful pool area with spacious rooms and poolside balconies certainly give this hotel a lot of potential.

I have stayed at this location as a guest and also as an event promoter. unfortunately the previous owners let the hotel fall into disarray the past few years so we stopped going. We noticed it changed names and decided to stop in. Although an older venue, the new owners are slowly making a ton of improvements. No other hotel in the area offers the unique amenities that this property has. A one of a kind indoor heated pool with tropical atrium, poolside rooms, full service bar, on site restaurant and more. Slowly but surely we see this venue turning around and look forward to our next stay

I should of known at check-in to turn around and run but we were there for a weekend festival with a lot of friends. The check-in process was horrid. They also made a copy of my credit card which was used later probably by the transients living in the hotel to get their Panda Kitchen dinner, plus other fraudulent charges. This hotel does not value consumer identity protection. Not to mention, their phones are shut off so I cannot get hold of anyone here to rip them a new one. There was no heat in the common areas of the building. It was freezing. The staff was also running salamanders in the lobby - hello CO ???? At least our room had heat, but no blankets (I am ok with that), no towels, no toilet paper. Mold on the ceiling. Room door did not lock. Just overall dirty. The whole place smelled like ass mixed with weed. No food, no drinks and 4 broken ice makers. An abandoned bar, broken glass throughout the premises. Shady characters coming in and out at all hours. There were definitely some that were full time residents of the hotel. Abandoned busted up cars in the parking lot. I give this a -100000. Drive a bit down the road for better accommodations and not risk a staph infection.…

Ok, so, to begin. The Pocono Bluegrass society held a Winterfest bluegrass Festival this past weekend at this hotel. 1/28/22- 1/30/22. I was warned that this hotel was a little outdated. No big deal there. We packed up our kids and drove 4.5 hours from Vermont to attend. The hotel was just purchased and under new management. 1st the check-in process was a total disaster. The previous owners didn't give and reservation information to the new owners. The new owners did the best they could and we all got rooms. No big deal right? While we were waiting to get the rooms sorted out we learned that there was no heat in the hotel! The lobby and common areas were freezing. The owners were burning desal outdoor heaters in the lobby. Its a wonder we all didn't get sick. So next, we get our room. The room have heat, thank GOD!. At least ours did, I know others did not. We walk in and immediately we smell the stench of old cigarette smoke. The beds have no blankets, Just sheets with burn holes in them and some super thin decorative sham, but no blankets. Our water and toilet works though, which is better than some other guests have! We try to go to the stage the first night and see the music but there is no heat in the ballroom so it was pretty miserable. We didn't attend the main stage again. The poor bands were trying to play with frozen fingers. The Hotel didn't have their permits to serve food and drinks yet so they opted to have a catered dinner for guests who wanted to pay. We decided to pass as everything in the hotel suggested we would probably end up with food poisoning. Fortunately there is a Perkins across the street. We spend the evening Jamming and hanging out with friends. My friends make a point to take pictures and laugh at all the things wrong, and they were many.....not a little wrong, but a lot wrong. There is mold in the ceiling tiles, the hallways smell like piss and ammonia, half the lights don't work. Room doors barely work and some seem to have been broken into. We found a bowl of old moldy soup under our bed. No heat, no service, no blankets, no extra towels, some people didn't have toilet paper. Saving Grace for us is they did have their heated pool working, probably the only thing that did work. For my kids, that was enough for them to have a great time. We will never be returning.…
