Why Cherry Valley Manor? Cherry Valley Manor is a unique Bed and Breakfast for many reasons. We have stayed at many fine properties and learned what we like and dislike about them. At our romantic B&B we tried to make things the way we would enjoy them if we were guests. A Beautiful House We built a house of our dreams and as empty-nesters converted it to a Bed and Breakfast shortly after that. This means you can enjoy the freshness and thorough cleanliness of a new house. Our interiors are spacious and airy with large windows looking out at scenic views. Tall ceilings, elegant furniture, and unique lighting fixtures invite the guests to look up and around in awe. Our suites have lots of individuality and boast amenities like romantic private terraces, cozy fireplaces, Jacuzzis and hot tubs for two. What was once a piece of the woods became a blooming park with an elegant and welcoming house at it's heart.

This B&B is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Stan and Julia are so welcoming and friendly. Our room was beautiful. We had our own private deck with a hot tub. Everything was super clean. The breakfast was delicious. My husband and I will definitely be coming back.

We just returned from our anniversary celebration at Cherry Valley Manor, and can't say enough good things about this place! The owners Julia and Stan were delightful and accommodating, and the suite (Tiffany) was gorgeous and immaculately clean. The private hot tub on the back deck was filled with soft water, so we could soak as long as we wanted without smelling chemicals. Julia cooked an amazing hot breakfast each day, with fresh fruit and homemade coffee cakes and pastry that kept us sated for the entire day. We were pleasantly surprised that the (super-soft) towels were changed daily, and the room/bed was straightened. It was obvious that the owners have a strong work ethic, and they made us feel special and well cared for. The grounds were peaceful and well manicured, and we definitely felt like we had the privacy and serenity that we craved, with excellent places to eat and hike nearby. I highly recommend this lovely B&B!!

Julia and Stan are absolutely delightful, and really created a welcoming and relaxing retreat, perfect for a quick romantic getaway. Our room was spacious and appointed with everything we could need, and breakfast each day was delicious, individually prepared and taking into account dietary needs/restrictions. Their home was a perfect environment of feeling comfortable and welcomed, yet with the ability to be secluded in our little bubble as much as we wanted. We also loved the proximity and easy drives to Bushkill Falls, local wineries, and restaurants for lunch/dinner.

My husband and I booked a room at the manor based on all these excellent reviews. We were disappointed from the get go when we arrived early (notified the owners the morning of and they welcomed us to come early). We knocked on the door several times and rang the door bell, no one answered so we left. There was a garden hose hanging out of one of the windows, Christmas decorations and extension cords laying on the front porch, and Christmas lights falling off the trees. The parking was very tight and limited so each time we left the house or returned it was a struggle to park. The breakfast was disappointing too. We were expecting a gourmet breakfast as advertised.. part of our breakfast included activia yogurt. All the chairs in the dining room were reinforced with duct tape. The tables had Christmas placements with a cartoon penguins on them. We stayed at the manor the middle to end of January... I wasn’t expecting Christmas decor. My husband and I don’t feel like we got what we paid for. The owners are very nice, but the stay wasn’t what we expected.

+1
This is a wonderful, quiet and romantic sanctuary. We stayed in the Serenity room. It was comfortable. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and the shower was luxurious. The sitting room w the fireplace in the Serenity room is a little awkward because it’s overlooking the downstairs. During the day we went hiking on the Appalachian Trail nearby just 5 minutes away. We went out for a wonderful lunch at Charcuterie in downtown Stroudsburg and ate a delicious dinner of noodles and sake at Sango Kuro. Lots of shops, local wineries and breweries in the area. This is a gorgeous area and seems less crowded than the actual Poconos. Definitely checkout Delaware Water Gap, PA for a quick getaway!

The room and bathroom were very clean, as were the foyer and breakfast area. We stayed in the Royal Treatment room. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable. Beautifully kept exterior and grounds. Julia and Stan were very friendly, accommodating. Stan has jokes, watch out! haha
I'm going to nitpick just a bit here. We were not greeted upon our arrival of about 5pm (check-in is between 3pm and 9pm), but we were in contact with Julia via phone and she answered all questions for us. Our room needed some updated, accessible either power outlets or USB outlets near the bed. The room and bathroom were very well lit (too well in some cases). Dimmer switches and maybe some dimmable LED lighting would really add to the room ambience. There was no bubble bath soap for the jacuzzi that we could find. The room is just a bit pricey, but I feel we paid for a very comfy bed, sprawling bathroom with amazing shower and actual location of the B&B.
Overall, I'll still give this B&B a 5 rating.

Stayed at this bed and breakfast for our 45th anniversary. It was more than I hoped for. The owners are the nicest people and treat you like family. We stayed in the Tiffany Room which is a deluxe suite. The king size bed was beautiful and so comfortable. There was a leather couch if you want to watch TV but we never wanted to leave the bed. There is a 2 person shower with shower heads and body jets for each person. I loved it. As an extra bonus the room had a private patio with a great hot tub. So nice at night with the stars up above. The breakfast that they served every morning was to die for. Fresh fruit, delicious omelettes and a croissant that had us wanting more. One morning they had egg cream eclairs covered in chocolate sauce as the breakfast dessert. Unbelievably good. The grounds are beautiful. An outdoor pool was great for lounging and listening to the waterfall in the small pond. You never have to leave the property although there is plenty to do if you are looking for excitement. This is a place to do nothing but relax. It was perfection to us and we enjoyed the quiet elegance.

My husband and I were looking to get away for the few days that we both had off work! We were so thankful that Stan and Julia made an exception and allowed us to stay for just 1 night. Julia also made an excellent and special gluten free breakfast for me! Thank you so much!
Our room was in excellent condition, extremely clean and VERY quiet. It is worth every penny to stay here! In response to other reviews- you will be asked to leave your shoes at the door and will be given slippers and they schedule breakfasts so that you can have a personal and quiet time in the breakfast area.

Our first experience at a B&B was outstanding. Stan and Julia are gracious hosts with a beautiful home and tranquil yard perfect for relaxing. Breakfast is a delicious homemade meal served with elegant presentation and lots of smiles ! Our room was the royal treatment suite and we certainly felt like royalty. The bed is so comfortable. The bathroom is spacious with a 2 person jacuzzi tub, chandelier lighting and shower with rainfall head. We throughly enjoyed our time here. Thank you so much !

Cherry Valley Manor is the quintessential Bed and Breakfast spot in the Poconos. The hosts were gracious and attentive and sociable. The 4 course breakfast was fantastic. We stayed in the "Jacuzzi with a View" room. The view overlooks the swimming pool in the back of the house at ground level. Nice view but be aware that its through a regular window that people on the outside can see into the room. We don't know what to make of the jacuzzi because the first time, debris came out from the jets. We rinsed the tube by letting the jets run for a while before finally feeling comfortable enough to get in it. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Yes, we stayed for just one night
no. but they have a large fridge in the common room
It was closed while we were there in December. But we were in the Jacuzzi room.
There so many places downtown. Beautiful little city. Many options, cafés, bars and restaurants. Loved Alaskans Pete's !
Serenity suite is completely private and enclosed with a door that locks. You have three private spaces to enjoy: a bedroom, a bathroom and a cozy sitting room with fireplace and sofa.
