Although we didn't have the chance to check out the restaurant (which we will during our next stay) we did have a great experience at Woodfield Manor. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Would love to be able to stay a few nights next time!
We fell in love with this place a year ago, when we first visited Woodfield Manor on my Dad’s birthday. Since then it has been our tradition to celebrate it there. The staff is impeccable polite, helpful and warm hearted. Specially I wanted to recognize the manager of Woodfield Manor Theresa. She is great! She is the one who creates and maintain such amazing ambience and hospitality! The pool is super clean and warm, the linens and towels are pristine. BBQ grills and all cooking utensils needed for the grill are available and they have them next to the cottages. We were lucky to also have a picnic table just near our porch. Oohhh and we got Birthday balloons all the time we come☺️🎈🎈🎈 since it’s my father’s birthday! I highly recommend this beyond beautiful place! Irina
My Mom, who is 100 years old and I went here spur of the moment for a short vacation We had a wonderful time! Place was very clean, easy access to many activities Staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful The pool is exceptionally clean and even has a separate kiddie pool This is a wo default place with or without little ones
We were looking for a place to get a change of scenery and some very necessary r&r. This place was totally the right choice. The duplex cottage was charming, the pool was perfect, the property was pretty, and Theresa is completely the best. She was very helpful on the phone when I made the reservation and continued to be just that through our stay. I can't think of any other place we have stayed in where the manager would come 10 minutes after you called her to see why the gas fireplace is not working. (The pilot was out, easy fix, but we had no idea..) We would definitely stay here again!!
We booked a house in the Poconos for a week but it didn’t start until Monday. We decided to head to the area the day before and wanted to find a nice, clean, kid-friendly place with a pool. I searched for at least 2 hours and nothing I found met our needs or had even remotely decent reviews. Then I read about Woodfield Manor and specifically how helpful Theresa was with one reviewer. I called and she said they didn’t have any rooms. I asked her for a recommendation because all the reviews of all the places in the area were bad and I explained my situation. We only needed one night, we wanted a pool, and we weren’t very picky. She paused for a moment and said that she could make a room available if we were a little flexible on check-in and we’re sure to check-out a little before 11. But we could go right to the pool and was so nice. The place is really quaint (we were in the manor house but the cottages look great). The pool was really nice, with fountains and a kiddie area; the tables had umbrellas and there were cabanas which made eating at the pool really convenient and comfortable. We got food from the Frogtown Chophouse. Staff were nice, food was good if a little pricey but they had a kids menu. Pool was open until 9 or 10, which the kids loved. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a king in one room with an attached room which had a sleeper sofa. Both rooms had TVs. Overall, we had a great stay, even if it was only for one night.…
